Did you get an additional software with it? I still need to find myself a mat but hoping to use it in the garage in the winter, then in the backyard when it gets warm out. I'm excited!

I tried a couple different ones.  Ended up with the WGT.  I was not interested in the online play.  99% of the time I just use the range.  Also got the mat from Skytrak too. A bit pricey at $400, but it’s been a year and it’s hikding up nicely

I think I’m going to do the WGT too. Found a mat for $89 on amazon so figured for that price, even if it only lasts a year I’m fine.

lol only have MacBooks/IPad so I think I’m limited to WGT anyway.

Forgot to mention that....you will want a very nice, fast computer.  IPad will work but it can’t be old.  And even then there will be a lag time after you hit to display the shot on the screen - up to 10 seconds waiting for it to render.  I ended up building a custom PC dedicated to it.  It will be incredibly slow if you don’t have a very good graphics card, fast hard drive and RAM.

Just picked up a 4K action cam (like a GoPro) on eBay, using today's 15% off coupon. The one I got will do 240fps at 720p: that's much better than my phone's slow motion mode, and the primary thing I was interested in.

I'm also hoping that since it connects to a phone or tablet through a dedicated WiFi connection, I think there's a chance it'll do live video on my tablet. That would allow me to hack together my own LiveView camera, which is something I've wanted to try.

TS2 9.5* HZRDUS Smoke 6.0. eBay coupon and an additional 10% off brought it down to $382 shipped... I couldn't say no.

After my fitting, I picked up ball speed and my dispersion was very tight. I still feel like I'm leaving distance on the table, but the Trackman numbers were good. Still launching a tad low, but those might've been not-so-great strikes due to the Indian, and shitty range balls. Still, 7MPH average ballspeed over my G400 Max hitting those same range balls.

Amazon one day sale on Callaway clubs. Picked up a 2017 GBB and a GBB 5wood for $322 including tax.

It’s not exactly what I was looking for but compared to the Taylormade R5 I’m swinging now.

Good enough for now. By the time I outgrow the GBB, drivers will be 20 yards longer!

The ball speed doesn't lie, and the dispersion circle was tight. I got caught up in the numbers a bit after my fitting and it made me second guess the whole thing, but then I remembered we play golf on courses, not ranges with Trackman. All things equal, the ballspeed number was bigger, and bigger is better!

My friend just drove a long distance to buy one with a mat and net too. He's amped and I'm jealous since he lives across state.

 
I'm excited. Was looking for something that would give me numbers. Also like that I can take it outside too. Goal is to work on my swing this winter and get a few things figured out. Interested to see how accurate it is, and how the sim golf software is. I'll have to open up a thread once it gets here. Now I just need to find a hitting mat!
