@fozcycle First of all... Know that we are here for you, we love you and this is a safe place. You need to separate yourself from your temptations... You can send me all the clubs that are causing you any feelings of distress no questions asked. Second, you should look for a sponsor to help you whenever you need some advise/guidance. For example, my Wife is my sponsor. Whenever she sees that I am on any troubling sites like RockBottomGolf, CallowayGolfPreowned, GolfWorks, eBay etc. She talks me down and tells me to think about my loved ones... Usually my wallet. Feel free to message me anytime.

Matt

I am trying very hard to accept the things I can’t change….golf equipment spending. I just always thought the more clubs you had the better you play…..guess I got that wrong.  I am mindful of the steps you have laid out for me. However I don’t think they will work. BTW. did you see the new club listings on ebay?…..

The club ho's are slowing down....this thread was on the second page of my 'recent content'  threads!!  🤣

My contribution is to fess up to picking up a used Mevo from a fellow Spy.  I never had seen one in person and I was surprised how small the unit is.  Hit a few shots into the net before the thunderstorm rolled through and i can tell this will be fun!

... At 68 I am definitely not hitting bombs with my Sim2 but I can get it out there long enough to reach some par 5's in two. I have more confidence in my Sim2 Max than any driver since the Fly Z. I am really looking forward to hearing how your Sim2 works for a "young" stud that can take advantage of it's power and accuracy.

(and since you mentioned bombs, I hope your sweet companion makes it through this long anti animal weekend)

I'm very excited to have some visual symmetry between the Driver and 3 wood.  While I started to fall in love and stay in love with my 3, I became a mess in my mind while setting up my LST and seeing the different look.

Yes it may sound silly but to certain degrees we all have our out mental handicaps.

The Tensei 1k has been very intriguing.  I am hoping for the better dispersion of the Ventus line with the nice feel and load through impact.

A BIG shout to People's golf.  This club was ordered on a Monday and arrived today.  Meticulous detail and a quality build.

More to come...

... Like many previously ignorant dog people, I always feared Pit Bull and mixes having read and seen the damage they can do to people. My son rescued a Pit Mix out in LA that turned out to be a pure breed Stafford Terrier and having owned many dogs my entire life I can honestly say I have never met a sweeter, more tender companion. I thought the rescue must have come from an abusive back ground because he is so timid and docile, but so sweet and lovable. Always remember the first time he saw a pack of coyotes and after some deep ominous growling my son said "get 'em" and he took off after them like shot out of a rocket. Since then I have run across more situations where he showed he can be a protector and unafraid but 99% of the time he just wants to be with you and be loved. Obviously they are not the bad breeds we have been lead to believe but in the wrong hands they can be trained to be quite viscous, which of course is not their fault.

After my mother died we got my Father a 1/2 Pit, Lab mix.  She was a great dog, too much energy for my 80 year old Dad but they were great friends.

I’ve said it B4, I don’t think there’s bad dogs just bad owners & breeders who make them bad.

He's our lover pup.  Prior to meeting my wife I had a similar bias and ever since making our introductions, he has become my shadow...seriously...he doesn't leave me alone 🙂

...Bill Burr whether you like him or not has a funny skit regarding rescuing pit bulls, the one where he discusses my girlfriend got a dog perfectly sums up my experience! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3zIioTc5m8 (Caution Language)

Anyone who is shy around a pit bull, I get it.  Bad rep on a fantastically patient, loving and clumsy dog.  I cant imagine my life without one.

Oh that's awesome...Share your thoughts on it when you get some swings, I have a 60x coming this week as well.  Can not wait to get going with it.

Ok guys here are my quick thoughts. I managed to get out and play 6 holes after work before running into a log jam and calling it quits.

The combo of the ST-Z and Tensei 1K looks amazing at address. I will get a pic (I was too excited to hit it and forgot) but the gloss black to carbon on the head looks unbelievable in the sunlight and the rainbow Tensei is super cool.
First swing with only the Sklz trainer for a warm up was a 10 yard fade into the first cut about 15 yards short of my normal spot. I had no one behind me so I grabbed another ball and hit again. This time I tried to hit a draw. The ball flew straight as an arrow to my normal distance on the right side of the fairway. At this point I like what I’m seeing.

3rd hole is a 300+ dogleg left that I usually push a little left of my target and threw the fairway. First ball I tried to hit a big draw. Finally got the draw but it was a baby one that hit the slope and took off. Ended up 20ft short of the green about 20-30 yards past my normal spot. Now I’m really happy!

The next 3 holes were more of the same. Set up for a straight shot and get a 5-10 power fade. Set up for a draw and get a straight flight. As for distance, other than the 3rd hole I was seeing my normal distances of 280-300 depending on roll.

I like what I’m seeing but really really intrigued by the X. I have fought for years trying to get rid of the left to right flight and even the power fades bug me. I can get use to them but I do prefer a right to left flight mainly because when I get lazy I end up with a fade instead of an push/fade or slice.
Im gonna give it the weekend and see on the head.

Now for the shaft for those interested. In the different heads it isn’t exactly apples to apples but the PO 50x/Epic Speed combo definitely feels softer than the 1K 50s/ST-Z. I could feel the PO load and unload very smoothly however the 1K just felt good. No load or unload just good. It is hard to explain and I plan on getting another adapter for the PO since nobody seems to want it and do a comparison in the same head. That head will be either the Z or X depending on the 3 rounds this weekend!
