Haven't bought much golf stuff lately.  I stocked up on some Kentwool socks during their Oct sale.  Then just went to Disney with the family and found a sweet Darth Vader pin.  Black with a raised pewter image of Darth Vader's face.  Then it says #1 Dad in the Galaxy.

 

I couldn't resist.  I have zero desire for a pin, but I snapped the pins off the back and ground them flat with a dremel.  Now I have a sweet new ball marker.

Picked up a new driver for my son. I gave up on trying to get a replacement for his damaged US Kids driver so I just got him a Cobra Amp to get him by until next year. He thinks it is cool since it is orange.

Bought the matching sand wedge (55*) for my Cobra F6 irons........Love the gap wedge so putting the matching sand wedge will give me an extra slot for a second hybrid.(The 55* replaces a 53* & 57* SCOR wedges)

Foz, you switch out clubs more than anyone I know!  How do you do that?  What makes you decide which driver or irons or wedges that you are going to play on a particular day?  I will make a change in a club or two once in awhile, but when I do, I keep them in play for quite awhile.  Just curious.

Just by feel, I guess.....My short game has not been very good lately so I have tried a couple different setups....In Sept, I tried the Bombtech 52/56/60 set, but it did not fit well with my bag(41*/45*/50*....).

 

I like the Gap Wedge with my cobra F6 irons so when the Sand Wedge price dropped, I decided to try it. That makes my short irons 41/45/50/55 and gives me an extra slot in my bag so I can add a 4 Hybrid.

 

I hope to settle down shortly and run with a bag for the winter. BTW, My Driver/Fairway/Hybrid/iron setup is great right now.......Cobra King LTD/Bombtech 15*/Cobra BioCell 17*/Cobra F6 irons 4-GW.

 

Need some clubs?  I probably can help.....LOL

Got a steal of a deal on a new TM M2 9.5 head. The 10.5 M2 launched and spun a bit too much compared to the M1 for me. Looking forward to seeing what the 9.5 head does.

Just placed my order to Golfworks for 7 Recoil 680 shafts. Getting them to tip and butt prep them for me.

 

Also go some reshafting supplies...apparently I'll have everything for the weekend.

ETA: They came! They look fantastic and will look even better installed in the clubs on Saturday.

Ah, yep. Graphite, lighter, stronger flex. When I hit them at Golfworks, they were the best feeling and best looking flight, even compared to the shafts in there now.

I see you are a big Cobra fan ....    Back in the day I was a Cobra homer as they make good stuff and I was hooked.  I went in a different direction and I'm sure the snakes are still awesome products.
