Just a word of caution, the Steelfiber 95's play almost a whole flex stiffer than their stated flex for most. I have played 950GH in S-Flex and the Steelfiber 95 R-Flex is definitely stouter than the S-Flex Nippons. You may want to soft step them a couple times. edingc 8,383
Pulled the trigger on a Down Under Board. The new "pro" model that's adjustable and can accommodate flared feet. Getoffmylawn 2,823
Picked up a couple midsize Golf Pride Z Grips for my TS3 3 & 4h. Haven't played a full cord before but I like the look and feel so far. When I ordered the hybrids I asked for Tour Velvets, and they came in with MCC Align grips on them. I got them through a friend who helped me get a serious discount, but that friend thought he was doing me a favor by "upgrading" the grips. Nice thought, except when you adjust the hosel that whole "align" thing is no longer aligned! Got the Z Grips swapped in at no charge so all good. 9 Quote Driver: TR20 460, Vizard 60g Stiff FW: CBX 119 3w, 15, Project X Evenflow Blue 75g Stiff Hybrids: TS3 3 & 4H, Project X Evenflow Blue 85g Stiff Driving Iron: MP-20 HMB 3i, UST Mamiya recoil ES 780 F3 Iron: JPX 919 Forged 4- GW, Project X 6.0 Wedges:SM8 54 S Grind, 60 M Grind Putter: ER7B Tested the Honma TR20 460 driver
Grand Stranded 1,628
I got what I think is a good a good deal from of all places, the PGASS. I've been looking to get hybrids to go with my 0211's, but I didn't want to spend the $200-275 new ones go for now. Well, the Superstore has the Cobra F9's on sale for $119 each. This is $50 cheaper than anywhere else for some reason. I went in yesterday and hit a used one, and liked it. This morning I planned on ordering the 3&4, but then decided at that price to get the 5 also. This used up almost all my gift card balances, but I'm thinking a 5 hybrid will be fun to mess around with. Not to mention, I'll have the 90 day playability, so why not? When I recently changed my irons, I kept my Rogue X hybrids in the bag. That was never going to be permanent however, as the plan was to keep a second set up on Long Island, and I want them to stay with my Rogue X irons. I also have two MD 4 wedges and Yes! Tracy putter in that 2nd bag already, so I'm getting there LOL. 8 Quote Driver Epic Max 10.5* Cypher 5.0 Fairway TS2 16.5* Kuro Kage R Hybrids TS2 19* & 21* Kuro Kage R Irons PXG 0211 5-GW MMT 70 Wedges Vokey SM7 52F & 58-M Putter Newport 2.0 33.5" Bag Hybrid 5 stand or 2.5+ Extras Tracy 33.5” G400 Max 9.0* Alta CB

It really hasn't been much of a hassle (kind of fun actually), and fairly painless to my wallet. I loved the setup I had prior to getting the PXG irons, so I've been taking my time looking for the stuff I want to put in a bag with them. It's been easy doing it like this because I still like my "old" clubs, and have no desire to sell them yet.... it would be a lot more stressful if I hated them, and felt like I had to change them quickly. This just came down to a perfect storm of having won or been gifted a ton of PGASS gift cards, and getting bored with looking at the same stuff in the bag. When when I heard about the discounted pricing PXG has been offering, I took a flyer on the 0211's and the MMT shafts at $89 per. Once I knew they were keepers, I started burning the gift cards on new wedges, a Scotty and now the hybrids.
