Nothing flashy or anything like that but they’re a good looking wedge, Cleveland wedges are up there for me and give vokey a run IMO

9 hours ago, cnosil said:

It's a pretty basic wedge,  not sure what you were expecting.  The "advantage" of vokeys would probably be their bounce/grind options.

I know what it is... as a wedge guy, I expected to be inspired to paint with said wedge brush... this did not inspire me at all when I opened it.  Like opening a bag of chips to find it smashed all to heck, and only half of what you expected.

For being “the wedge”... I expected instant inspiration.

I would be surprised if anything in the general consumer marketplace inspired you in that way. They are all just wedges. For what you are talking about you would need custom or boutique wedges.

Haha.  I asked for “lots of dots”... plan is to fill them in with all different colors so it looks like a doughnut with sprinkles.

I remember you saying that. IMO it looks great. But I think I can understand where the disappointment is coming from.  The dots seem more machine and spaced out almost polka dot like, which I like the look of personally,  but I would be left wanting more if I was expecting a more random sprinkle-like dot pattern

The cobra wedges inspired me when I had them... I will drop the subject for sake of the thread.  Maybe I needed to start with a 56° with other than a full grind... who knows.

Not clubs, but used some “points” from work to buy the new Bose QC noise canceling ear buds. I used them at the range for the first time today and they were great. The sound and fit are so much better than the other wireless earbuds I have.

My sister unexpectedly gave me an Apple Watch SE that her fiance passed on since he is happy with his current smartwatch.  I have a rangefinder, but looking forward to having a quick go to for distance on the course and potentially help with other parts as I dive more into the golf applications.  Also, was excited to see that you can use spotify without your phone now so that should be great for runs/range/etc.....

Bought a space heater for the garage for the winter.  Why it has taken me so long to purchase one - I have no idea.  Hopefully this can get the garage to around 45 - 50 in the winter so that if I do mis hit one, I'm not regretting it.

My Srixon iron set doesn't have a gap wedge so I ordered a CBX 2 50 degree gap wedge, Modus 120 S soft stepped once, 1/2 inch short, grip in the box (uninstalled). I don't trust that the swingweight will come in right with the 1/2 inch short, so coming without the grip installed saves me a step. Also, they didn't have undersized grips, so I will be installing my own grip anyway.

Also, the right swingweight has made a dramatic difference in my wedge game to the point where I love hitting wedges.
