I've not been buying recently until I came across a shaft to try in my driver. Currently gaming a Matrix Black Tie X but fancied trying a counterbalanced shaft so picked up an Aldila Rogue Silver 110MSI X off ebay for a nice price. Looking forward to trying both out, side by side, on the practice ground and sim.

Really like how the matt black at the tip of the shaft matches the matt head of the RadSpeed

In my ongoing search for a Sand Iron that I can actually get out of a bunker with (I mean my golf ball, I'm very good at using any wedge as a cane to help me out of the trap after I've picked the ball up, thrown it and ripped the scorecard up.)  I've pulled the trigger on a Ping Glide 3.0 with the Eye2 grind.  I've never been a good bunker player, even when I was a passable golfer, but at least I could get out and on the green with my old Eye 2. 

 

We shall see.

 

I have bunker lesson number gazillion and 22 next week.  The wedge should be here by then.  Here's hoping one of those two things works.

@azstu324 and @cksurfdude Apparently my fitter down here was way ahead of the curve on this Otto Phlex thing you guys have stumbled upon.

Two years ago when the G425 was coming out, I preordered a 10.5* SFT with the Alta CB regular flex I had in my G400. It was about as blah a combo as I could’ve imagined.

I brought it to his shop, and had my guy take a look. After about 5-6 head, loft, and shaft combos we struck gold. The G425 Max 9* lofted up 1* with a Distanza soft regular shaft 1/2” long.

I gained SS, went from a fader with my driver to hitting a draw, and legit gained 20 yards of carry. It’s been so much fun to hit.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago… I won a raffle in a tournament down here and the prize was a fitting for, and a new Rogue ST Max driver. They wanted to put me in a regular flex 55g Tensei something, but I asked to try a lighter weight and flex.

After getting an eye roll and a “I’ve been doing this for years, I know what I’m doing, just look at your numbers” speech, he finally plugged in a 40g Cypher A flex. All of a sudden, he got quiet, then he finally admitted I might have been on to something. 
We eventually settled on a 10.5* St Max set to D/S with a NVS Orange 45g A flex shaft 46”.

Here’s the rub though… I have the Callaway over two weeks now, but aside from one trip to the range after I first got it, I haven’t put it in play. My Ping is just too good right now

I’ve considered selling the Rogue ST Max driver head with or without the shaft… me being LH limits the audience though…

Plus, it was something I won, so I don’t really want to mess with good karma. Who knows, it was pretty darn good the few times I hit it.  I just don’t want to mess with what’s working right now.

My Sun Mountain 4 way 2.5 is a great bag, but I just got what I think is a great deal on a 2022 2.5 14 way. 
A place called The Golf Stop has them for $199, which is $60 less than anywhere else. I got free shipping and no tax which was a great bonus saving.

PXG 0811XF Gen 4 w/Senior Evenroll Riptide CB shaft showed up today…..absolutely brand new…bought it off PXG eBay group just to get the shaft for my 0211. Gonna try it with the 0811XF first.

I don't think all this Otto Phlex stuff is a good idea.  All you guys with swing speed to burn buying light flex shafts will drive up the costs for us guys that need those shafts!!  Shame!!

Not clubs, but got a smokin' deal on these and decided to give them a try.  Nothing but good things to say so far.  I've worn them, but haven't struck any golf balls in anger with them yet.  Maybe tomorrow; Fallen Firefighter's event at Bear's Best Atlanta.  We'll have to check the weather and see if these fit with my drip...

I have been toying with the idea of a 5 wood for years, and after a year long love/hate relationship with my TSi2 hybrid (inconsistent launch, usually hit it way too high even after trying three different heavy x-flex shafts) and a negatively trending experiment with a P790 UDI (not forgiving enough for my game), I finally pulled the trigger on a Cobra Radspeed Tour 5w when their prices dropped last week. I am going to put it through the paces over the next few weeks to see if this is the consistent 230 club that I need.

I will definitely post up a review in the unofficial testing thread with some  Gopro shots showing my results.   For now maybe some of these will give you an idea of how this putter works.

I've been playing yellow for over a year now.  Keeps those old coots from trying to claim my ball as they're riding up the fairway.  We have a small group playing on Monday's and Wednesday's if you're up for the ride.  We go off at 09:30.

I need to block this clubs4cash used website. The deals there and prices are truly really good and I am quite impressed. 

Picked up 4 items
- Accra Concept Fairway shaft for my Cobra F7 & King SZ 3 woods. 
- Titleist 910 3 Hybrid (was part of the buy 2 get the 3rd item free and this was my free item) So if it works better than my Burner Superfast great. If not I have it as a backup. 
- Alidila RIP Phenom 50 gram stiff shaft (under $50 usd) which is less than it would cost me to get the adaptor. It isn't Otto Phlex worthy, but it is in a weight category I haven't used much so will be interesting to see. 

Then finally I did dip and get the Accra FX 3.0 360. Should be fun to change shafts around and experiment a little more in the winter!
