Took my son to a local golf shop to get a Superstroke grip for his putter and the little guy somehow talked me into getting him a new putter.  Found an older TM Spider that he was just deadly with on the putting green so he went home with it.  I have to agree with him that his stroke looks a lot better than with the blade he had been playing.

He has a Byron mini, Scotty and now a TaylorMade putter. I think that is a good start for a 10 year old.

Went last night to hit the Epic and Epic Sub Zero and while I like them I got better numbers with the new Titleist 917 line.  Got fit for a 917 D2 with the Fujikura Tour Pro Spec 74x, 917 F2 with the same shaft in 84 grams and an 816 H1 with a Motore 8.8x.  Now I just need to decide if they are any better than my 915s and pull the trigger.

The fitter I went to called my yesterday and said he he a thought that he wanted me to try. I went back today and hit the 917 D3 in the 9.5 head turned down a degree with the weight in the fade position. Launching at right around 14* with spin at around 2,100 RPMs. Needless to say I was sold on the driver and picked up the 917 F2 with the same shaft. Then he showed me a putter that he had done and was looking to sell. He had the right guy and I took this beauty home as well.

 

 

 

 

 

He had the right guy and my wife is not going to be thrilled when she sees the damage to the bank account. Good part is I am set for the start of 2017.

Just snagged a 48° Cleveland 588 RTX 2.0 wedge with a KBS hi rev shaft off ebay. It'll fit nicely in the bag.
