It'll be a bit sad to see the Bridgestones leave the bag as they were the first product I ever tested for MGS, but it's well past time. The shafts were always a bit too light, the grind on the 54 wasn't what I really wanted, and I've seen spin start to decline a bit. 

Just pulled all the nasty stickers off and regripped last night, ready to hit the range and get numbers dialed in. I'm sure I'll have to adjust the lie angle as well.

Well my first @GolfSub70 purchase is off to a great start.  
Ordered the 849D and it arrived in a bit less than. 2 weeks.   
 

And in addition to a spectacular looking driver.   The overall packaging a extras were a huge surprise and are of terrific quality.  
 

Lookikg forward to getting it on course and of course adding it to the 2023 CG2 Driver Shootout

I bought a couple of sm5  wedges used cause I'm poor lol. I got them for 30 bucks each and I did buy a brand new ping 425 max driver from Scheels for $319 on sale.

I love my c-130. Not gonna lie, it's big and can get heavy but if you primarily ride, it's awesome. I have all the gear, all the layers, all the training aids, all the everything I could need in a round stuffed into mine. Oh and every time I move my clubs into my carry bag, I realize just how much I prefer the individual club holes. So much easier to get the clubs in and out of the bag and my OCD is placated since I can keep all the clubs in a nice organized order.

... While the C130 is a great riding cart bag   the handles get in the way and the wedges slide around on them and the shafts don't reach the bottom when laying on a push/remote cart. I had to return mine for that reason.

Any insight on how this compares to the GT line? I am up in the air but am enticed to pick up the GT at the current discounted price but want to know others experience.

This is my personal experience from testing them both, but keep in mind just my opinion.  First, I found that the back bar added a touch of stability when compared to last year's model.  If you were to pick up one or another solo, you likely wouldn't be able to tell, but I did some extensive testing with both and noticed that yes, the new model was marginally more stable.  They are both great though.

Second, and what ultimately resulted in me paying the extra $100 for the new model, was the true path alignment coming back on top.  It's not that last year's was bad by any means, I just really, really prefer the contrast on top that the white v. black offered.  I found it frames the ball so well.  I draw three lines on top of my ball and it aligns perfectly (can post a picture later today of that)

Again, do not think you can go wrong either way and that $100 discount absolutely makes last year's a great value for a new putter

Oh man that's tough - I'm glad you were able to test both extensively! I might see if I can grab the GT from PGA Superstore at the discounted rate and if I'm tempted to upgrade I can take advantage of the return/upgrade policy (or maybe vice-versa, we'll see). Thanks again for your opinions, I'm super tempted to put either in my bag!

Went to Roger Dunn to try out some hybrids.  Came down to the Wilson Dynapower and Titleist TSR2.  Close call but left with the Titleist.

Have they fixed the issue of the previous versions where it wouldn't stand up by itself?

True to my history with Fed Ex they did not deliver yesterday BUT they are absolutely, positively almost maybe be here today.

... Found a "deal" I couldn't pass up. After my last fitting I decided to go with the Stealth 2 HD and a Velocore Red Ventus shaft. My normal shot is a soft draw and my miss is a bigger draw so I was a little worried about the HD (High Draw) driver but it worked well in my fitting so I took a chance. Played it today and so far I am happy with the trajectory and soft draw.

I've had my Stealth 2 HD for a week now and I'm totally in LOVE with it!   Soooooo much fun to hit and the feel off the club face is addicting.  I've played three rounds thus far and each one gets better and better.  Heading out again today

... Sweet! Gotta agree with you and I find the sound/feel to be outstanding too. What I find interesting is the Stealth didn't work well for me and I stuck with my Sim2 Max since the numbers were virtually identical. But demo day with the Stealth 2 HD was a completely different experience and I gained a good 10 yds over my Stealth. The 4gm draw bias weight port can take a 2gm weight and I could put 2gms of lead tape on the toe if I need it. I have only played it for one round but the flight was no different than my Sim2 Max.
