GaryF
Just checked on my order for new mizuno jpx923 hm’s. Originally told 4-5 week back order, and I’m 3+ weeks in. Told likely another 3 weeks. Memorial Day slowed them down - guess they didn’t see that coming. The next step in my fitting is hybrids/woods and wedges and we were going to want to see what my gaps from the irons are. May at this point just take a guess and steer clear of Mizuno. Was hoping to have everything by ….never mind. Technically haven’t purchased as I won’t get billed through my club until delivered to them. MattWillGolf
A Costco trip led to picking up a pack of 2 dozen of the Kirkland Signature 3-piece balls. I also received a Ping shaft adapter for my G400 Max driver that I ordered off of EBay. I dropped that and my other EBay purchase, a Fujikura Motore X F3 shaft, at the local club repair shop to put it all together. Has anyone had any experience with shaft adapters purchased on EBay? I was going to get it from Golfworks but they want $9 to ship it. My Ebay purchase was $12, and it included shipping. I was ok with the adapter price of $27 but I found the shipping charge to be ridiculous for something as small as the adapter. rkj427, Fred Mitchell, sirchunksalot and 3 others 6 Quote CB-P226 Hoofer Cart Bag 0311 Black Ops 8° w/Mitsubishi Diamana S+ 60 0311 XF 3 wood 16° w/Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue 0211 19° Hybrid w/Project X Even Flow Riptide G410 Crossover 4 w/Mitsubishi Tensei Blue Paradym X 6 - GW w/True Temper Elevate MPH Official Forum Test SM9 54°/12° D and 58°/12° D w/KBS Tour 110 ER11v 34” Evnroll ER11v Official Forum Test Shot Scope Pro LX+ Pro LX+ Official Forum Test MTB prime 3.5+
Popular Post DStar
Sooooo, I was planning on getting new irons for my 50th in September. Went to the range at my local Mizuno dealer a while ago who had an old JPX921 SEL demo club - gave it a whirl and it was great. Tried a couple of shafts and best one was a Nippon Tour 120 in X-stiff. Browsing eBay a few days ago and boom! Brand new JPX921 SEL 6-PW with HotMetal 4 & 5i for sale from a reputable seller - Nippon Tour 120 X-stiff shafts. Bargain price, was a cancelled customer order as all serial numbers match. Not sure on the HM's but I'll give them a go. KC Golf
After using the Scotty Cameron stock Pistolero Plus grip for 2 years, I decided to go back to a Super Stroke Slim 3.0 (I used a similar one with my last Scotty gamer) for the Summer with the Arccos sensor attachment. The Scotty Pistoleros are surprisingly heavy, so adjusting it with the Super Stroke weight wise was difficult, but I was able with some help from a local grip specialist to get it fairly close by replacing it with a lighter Super Stroke weight. Hopefully my putting stats improve with it. I was never a glove guy until last year when I played a round where my hands sweated so bad I felt like I was going to lose a club. Irish-Assassin
Test update as promised from earlier. Callaway Golf 2022 Chrome Soft X LS Golf Balls, Shamrock design. SuperStroke Traxion Pistol GT™ 2.0 Golf Putter Grip I was playing today with usual group with the new balls and OMFG, ( you can figure out the F in OMFG means). The whole group where like wtf, we know you hit a good long draw but your like 50/60 yards ahead of us. Approach to the greens 10/10. Drives 15/10 yes they flew like rockets. Putting, worked like a charm with the new balls, honestly if you get a chance, try them, maybe it was all me and I had one of those days but even I was like holy mother of god. The new grip, well honestly it felt like I had it on for years, made my hands quieter which resulted in smother rolling putts, have to give it 10/10 also. cksurfdude 1 Quote Titleist TRS Driver, Titleist TSR 3 Wood, Titleist TRS 2 Hybrid, Titleist T300 irons, Vokey SM9 wedges 56 - 60, Scotty Cameron putter. I hit all of the other woods more consistently than the 9W. Sometimes it’s great and other times, I could hit my 9i better. I might either reshaft it or get a hybrid. That plus all of a sudden I'm getting along well with my TEE 7W so maybe, just maybe, this may work better for me vs hybrids..? EDIT: Ordered this morning .. just got an email it shipped this afternoon!! I have the Tour Edge E series 9 wood as well. Love it.
