Not sure if this thread is exclusively for clubs, but here we go.

Just picked up last year’s Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 2 shoes at 50% off.

With fall golf around the corner, I wanted to save myself from the painfully high maintenance that comes with my white New Balance and because my black Puma are about as impervious as a window screen, I opted for black leather shoes rated as waterproof (i.e., the standard 2-year US warranty).

Maxvert driver and hybrids (18 & 22) from VLS (Todd Kolb). The are designed for the "Senior" golfer and I definitely qualify. Amazingly, I'm driving 15-30% further and a lot straighter! I love 'em!

I never used to care about covers at all, my philosophy was "If it comes with one in the box I'm good"

Last year I got my first driver cover and instantly flipped the switch, now Im addicted to new driver and putter covers. I even bought a Mallot putter, just so I could start getting those covers as well.

Help?

what are your fav companies with fun covers?

Thank you!

Got a new putter today, an Evnroll EV5.3 satin. I bought it because I was disgusted with how fast the black finish on my ER5B wore off…looks horrible.

@Bogeyhunter14 I have started a collection of head covers as well.  Not necessarily on purpose but my kiddos have each picked one out and then I got one for my alignment sticks.  We found them on Amazon.

@Vegan_Golfer_PNW, are you planning on putting this shaft into a certain driving iron from a certain DTC brand by any chance? 🫣

I feel like im never far from this thread.  Just picked up a 12* driver head from ebay for about 200.00.  Yeah I can crank the loft of my current one, but it also closes the face too much and my miss is already Left.

Matches my 10.5* lol.

I made a similar swich earlier this season.  I went from a 9* Cobra Speedzone turned up to 10.5* to a 12* Cobra LTDx turned down to 10.5*.  It has really improved my left misses.  I am still fully capable of yanking one OB left, but it is much less likely with this setup.

Was mostly basing it on how well I hit my 3w off the tee and its the HL version at 16.5*.  I can damn near get my driver distance with it.  I probably hit down a tad.  Ive got a round today with my current 10.5 cranked up to 12* so im expecting to miss it left.  But if im happy with the flight and launch ill know I will like the higher lofted 12* that sadly arrives tomorrow.

Enjoy it!  I love my DF2.1.  I wish I could have walked into the store and bought one.  Not one store had a left handed in any of their styles and waited right at 6 weeks for mine and it wasn't custom.  It was a long wait but well worth it!

Put a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 in the bag a few weeks ago. Played four rounds of golf and only one three putt, pretty happy with that! I didn't imagine I'd adapt so fast as I switched from a Taylormade Spider that was face balanced. This is a reminder to go get fit for the club you use more often than others. That shiny new $600 driver will add two yards, but invest in a putter that you'll have for a long long time.

Very happy with the switch and getting fitted for my Newport 2.

Golf is the best sport to be bad at.

Ping G430 irons, 5 to 45 with graphite shafts.

picked them up yesterday afternoon, played 11 holes before the incoming storm hit.

Definitely see potential here. The greens were well watered, but the back spin was entertainingly enormous ( I only play to see the ball back spin 🤭) .

Yardages are just shifted a club, I have retro lofts. So it was a voyage of discovery yesterday afternoon. Also it was evident that they forgive you and the loss is small - which is what I was searching for, likewise perfect is not distinctly longer either.

Now I feel I can get to making the right shot decisions and not worry about whether I will hit it x or y distance , it will be x +/-5 yards irrespective of my input.

Epic speed - GPLB in long flex

Ping 425 max 3 wood/ Callaway Rogue 5w

PXG 7 wood/ Ping g425 Crossover 3

Ping G430 irons 5- 46 degree (+2 degree loft)  ( graphite shafts)

Ping  glide 4 , 50,56

Vokey SM6 60 degree M grind

yes Donna or maybe a centre shaft white hot 2ball

assorted updates/ stand ins stored safely for the call up

Still adjusting the set up

Lost my putter cover last Sunday somewhere between the green on hole 9 and the green on hole 10, and course didn’t find it unfortunately 😔.

Had some Callaway Reward points, and this cover was on sale so just had to pay for shipping. I really like the look, but it is a little ironic considering how cold my putting is lol. Maybe it will spark some good mojo. Also, got a Birdie79 alignment drawing tool. So far really helping my teebox alignment, but hoping it can translate to putts too.
