Going to need a 10x10x10 cage now, however, as this requires a bit more ball flight than Skytrak. I'm thinking I'm going to order one from Parbuster and then build either an EMT or PVC frame on the ceiling that I can bungee cord the cage to, and then use some sandbags to hold down the bottoms. That way I can just remove the sand bags and then put the netting up out of the way when not in use.

I just got Superspeed C stick, and Fujikura Pro 115i TS stiff shafts for my irons. I plan on hard stepping them and see how both improve my game.

@edingc is going to win that one for sure. but really interested to see what i can do with this. it theoretically fits my swing style, as i prefer to make a smooth swing rather than trying to load it hard.

Been a while since I provided any updates but the last year has kept things super low key. Still nothing major to report, besides some new balls and a new grip on my putter.

Debated for a while of going with a new putter or driver, but after testing the Mavrik (no major gains in distance or forgiveness) I wasn't overly impressed so I held off of that option. Then decided to hold off on a new putter until I was able to improve my overall game more and play more frequently. Talk about self control!

I have always liked the bigger grip on the putter (something I realized AFTER buying my first 'new' putter) so I went with a Super Stroke Traxion Pistol GT 2.0 Putter Grip. I recently changed my grip with my putting and really liked how this fit. Excited to put it to use!

Besides that, I was gifted 2 new cases of balls: Callaway SuperSoft MAX and Bridgestone e12 Contact. Two totally different types of balls but they were a random surprise from my FIL to try out and maybe improve some of my game. 

Having a TON of balls (all kinds) I tried to hold off on buying any new ones the past year. My goal was to hone in on a certain type and stick with that. Shockingly, I stuck with that game plan and can honestly say I haven't purchased any balls in over 1 year. Opening a nice, new, fresh box was nice after all that time, no matter what kind of ball it was!

SWMBO drug me back to Walmart yesterday and we found the Vice golf towels that match my new Vice bag….Regular price was $19.95 but these were in Clearance and so I picked one up….When we checked out, the $10 clearance price was only $5….so went back and bought all they had..ended up with 4 towels for the price if one!

I've always had great experiences with them.  I was fit at their HQ in Carlsbad, CA back in 2017, and anytime I have questions, they always get back to me right away.  Hope there wasn't anything wrong with your new V-Series.

Had the stock HZRDUS yellow laying around that came in my driver so I'm going to test out a 47" setup and see what the hubbub is about.

Well, I finally received my Cleveland tour rack raw wedges (56 & 60) after 6+ weeks. I think the wait was on the modus 125 wedge shafts. I also got fit into a Callaway BB B21 with an Evenflow Black x-stiff at their demo day at my club, and have an Odyssey White Hot OG #1WS with the stroke lab shaft ordered that will be here any day. And I thought my new Srixons last season were going to keep me set for a while.

Okay, I have to admit to an addiction to golf equipment. Yes, that is correct. I think I have finally gone over the edge.

 

yesterday a golf club sized package arrived at m6 house.  It was from Patriot Golf.  I ordered their Fathers Day package.  A cap, a ball marker with hat clip, a sleeve of Cut Red balls and a #7 fairway wood.  All of this for just $32 shipping.  No extra fees or commitments.

The cap is black(bad for summer) and does not fit well. The ball marker does not have enough strength to stay on the clip.  The Fairway wood (#7) is the same style as the Taylormade Rocketballz 2 design.  I know it’s old, but wanted to try it.  I got to hit it today on the range(pre round) and was somewhat surprised at the performance. The launch was mid to high straight and dec3nt distance.

 

Then, before I could try it on the course, we got dumped on from the sky on the 5th hole. We got soaked and quit.

Anyway, I need to check into an anti-golf-equipment group for therapy.......anybody have suggestions?
