I had this happen once at Wal-Mart, I decided to trial some Bridgestone Tour B RX and didn't open the box to check. I ended up getting 9 correct balls and 3 cheaper ones. I was pretty disappointed, but at least they were on clearance. I guess I know why now.

Ya gotta check everything at the pajama palace.....I was picking up oil filters and oil for a couple cars and I knew to look for opened oil containers to make sure it wasn't used oil somebody brought back.  But I decided to pick up a jar of dry roasted nuts to keep in the truck because I had a few service calls coming up that week.  I opened that jar a couple days later and found the inner seal under the lid was gone and a handful of nuts was gone.  I couldn't bring myself to eat any of them....huge disappointment that day!  And they weren't even the name brand, they were the cheap wally world brand!  I mean if you're gonna steal nuts at least hit the planters brand and make it worthwhile!!

If your crackheads are like our crackheads or even methheads they will steal anything they can get their hands on. In your case I think that may have happened. They would not know the difference between a quality Emerald nut a Wally World brand

Ordered another 2 dozen Snell MTB-Black balls. I think I like them better than the MTB-X.

Oh man the X is a great ball. I finally found one earlier this year and played 36 holes with it. Still in the bag too. Wanting to see the ball lab on the Black.

You are going to love this Rick---- At 64 years old I have never bought a golf tee. Growing up my old man ran a public daily fee course. One of my jobs was cleaning out and putting the carts on charge. I got plenty of tees there. I was also like my old man not too good to bend over to pick one up. Believe it or not I still have 2 Chase and Sanborn coffee cans full of tees from there. Most of those are shorter tees and I use them with my vintage play. Hey time period correct. Some of them will literally desinigrate when hit.

On the modern front ==== A lot of the tourist golfers ( which I am sure you can relate to) were stripping their bags weight wise to fly down. First stop after landing the Big Box stores to buy tees and balls. They will not bend over to pick up tees and when it is time to go home they leave the rest of the jumbo bags of tees. At my old club the cart barn guys used to give me bags of tees. They only place on this end of the beach that gives away tees is my local pancake house. He is a friend of mine and former sponsor. Man he gives me a bag half full when we go in.

LOL on another note : My shop is a clutter and I was selling some stuff the other day. I was messing around with my old Cleveland stand bag ( have had for 15 years) Found 2 handfulls of tees that came from a exclusive course here. My bud was Asst Pro and at the time I played a couple of days a week there. They gave away tees everywhere in the carts on the range and in the Pro Shop. Of course their members were not going to pick them up either.

Naah unless the shop and house burn down I do not see me in the foreseeable future purchaing any tees. Shoot just remembered I have half of a modern Folgers Can in the car with Pancake House tees

That’s funny!

I can’t remember the last time I bought Tees.  A while back a glove company was giving away Tees with each glove they sold.  I didn’t know it until they gave me the Tees.
All the Private courses up north gave out Tees and usually an inexpensive Divot Tool.  I’ve got a ton of those👍

About 18 years ago, I bought a bag of 500 long tees because my club gave out free tees, but they were the shorter tees.  Shortly after ordering the tees, the club switched to giving out longer tees.  The bag is still unopened in my golf cabinet.

At my 70th Birthday someone gave me a bag of Red/White/Blue Tees.  5 years later bag is unused.

Mostly I use tees from my husband's stash. But leave it up to us ladies to find fun even in golf tees! I've bought a few just because they are a fabulous color.

Bright yellow - I sponsor a Sadie Hawkins team each year. My team dresses in yellow and I make goodie bags around yellow themed items. Each person gets a bunch of long yellow tees and everyone knows where we've been.

Silver - I play in a weekend group that has closest to the hole greenies on every par 3. Put down your hopefully unique tee to mark your spot. I painted the top 1/2 inch of my silver tees with yellow fingernail polish. Trouble is when the last group picks up the tees, no one wants to give mine back.

Fuchia (called Passion Fruit on the order) - just because. Look at that rich color!

Very nice👍
I forgot about SWMBO Tees!  Multi color “Martini Tees” is all she’ll use.  She swears by them.  If I find them I give them to her👍

You had mentioned that you liked it a lot, and I had that in the back of my mind. The Mavrik has been good, hoping this is an improvement based on the reviews I read. If the AF doesn't work out well I still really like the Rogue White and would plug that in next to try.

I have the rogue white in my g425 and I like it a lot. So far it’s been a good pairing. Not a big kicking shaft but mildly responsive

Those are nice. I've been using pink tees since our daughter was born. When she gets older I'll let her pick the colors. I'm not much for customization because that stuff gets expensive, but tees are a nice cheap way to stand out.

I really liked the feel and results of the Rogue White when I was fit for the Epic Speed, but it seemed to me like it required more "effort" (if that makes sense) so kind of scared me away from it a bit. At least I know there's one with a Callaway adapter a state away of you ever feel the need to get rid of it.

Edit: I'm with @BIG STU, even though I haven't played as long as him, I almost take pride in the fact that I've never bought a tee.

It's been a long time since I bought tees.  I don't break many, only in winter... sometimes.  I can use one tee an entire round.  When I head to the range for practice or before a round, I don't take any tees with me; I usually find 3-4, use them on the range, put them in my pocket, play, empty my pockets into my golf bag pocket... repeat next time.  I end up with a golf bag pocket full of tees, which I empty 2-3 times a year or before we leave on a golf trip.  Have bags of tees at home.  I can't make myself leave a tee on the tee box!!

We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
