Bought an enclosure and heater for my golf cart for cooler days. So far I am very happy with both items.

I just ordered a new pair of golf shoes from Sketchers.  They carry extra wide (4e) and some popped up in an email ad from them for $50 and I had a 25% off coupon so decided to take advantage of the deal.

Really interested in how the shoes fit for you.  I have a very wide foot and have a lot of trouble finding golf shoes that I can wear comfortably for 18 holes

I typically wear New Balance because they offer 4e and are comfortable.  They are my only running shoes as well. I have tried a ton of different brands.

Skechers are definitely on my radar of curiosity. I also wear NB running shoes in wide width so now I am even more curious. My golf shoes are FJ Fuel in a wide and they are comfortable but if I walk 18 more than a few days in a row my feet will feel it.

They come in Friday. I'll be back in town Monday from Christmas at the inlaws and will get to try them out Tuesday. I'll make another post on what I think.

Ive owned 4 pairs of skechers (not for golf) and with a 4e foot as well, they had the best fit and feel. I walked half of Europe in 2 weeks with a pair and barely wore then down.  I've tried a similar shoe stretcher on leather sneakers and found that it will cause the binding glue from the sole to the upper material to separate faster. (Even tore the upper toe material too!)

Bought the ProSendr training aid. So far it works really well. Easy to use. Within 15 minutes using Trackman, I was able to go from a 3 degree out to in club path with a negative angle of attack with my driver to a 2 degree in to out path with a positive angle of attack and less spin on my driver swing. Bonus was that I gained 20 yards of distance in the process. Wow, so far so good.

New in the last month...

Driver shaft: Fujikura Ventus Blue TR 6X Velocore. Very happy with it so far, but have only hit indoors on a sim.

TP5X 'MyTM' personalized balls (xmas present)

New thicker JumboMax grips to try out on an iron and fairway woods over winter. Have one on my driver and love it. Expanding the testing to other clubs.

Shoes (not shown): Adidas CodeChaos 22 in grey/white/blue. Bought initially for winter indoor sim golf training, but so far very comfortable and I can see myself using them in summer. Only $50 on Amazon, so hard to turn down.

For Christmas my wife gave me a new wallet; I really like it.  While exploring it, looking at all the places to put things, I find a small, hand written note from her:  "One new Driver with Fitting"!   Wooohoooooo

Found myself at DSG trying on Peloton shoes, and inevitably drifted over to the used club section. I found some right handed x20s (5-Pw) which were my old set. They were on sale for $85 which seemed like a steal. I bought new grips for them and now have a spare set for any of my righty friends to use for the garage sim.

During the recent Golf Galaxy $20 off a $100 purchase, I picked up four dozen of the Maxfli Tour S golf balls for $86 (including tax and free two-day shipping) when I used a $10 reward certificate.  They are my new favorite ball and for about $21 a dozen, they were a steal!

My wife and I decided that this year we would get each other one gift for Christmas and really focus on the grandkids.  So I told her "all I want is a box of golf balls".  Now I can be a bit of a penny pincher, tightwad (you get the point), when it comes to golf balls.  I do most of my ball shopping in the slice zones, ponds or in the high grass.  But she did a good job and gave me a dozen Titleist ProV1X.  Not sure if I will ever play them though.

Nice color choice . One tip- the umbrella mount is worth testing before you first need it/ I have a round handled brolly and I've wrapped the handle with a chamois tennis wrap to add diameter and make it a more snug fit. Keeps it in place and upright better in my experience. But everything else about the push cart is solid.

Have a slight bias but you should check out the Nitron testing thread. It’s a great push cart. Couldn’t recommend more.

Birdie balls a lots of fun! They fly just like a golf ball and the farthest I ever hit one was about 50 yards. Tough, durable, but will stick in tree branches. My place in Oregon was 5 acres of Juniper trees and they would temporarily eat my birdie balls. Then we would get a day of wind and I would find them on the ground again.

Thanks I appreciate the feedback. I'll be in Arizona for the month of March, hopefully the weather is warmer than it was last March.
