Enjoy the new Ventus! I switched to a Blue TR 6X not long back and I'm really liking it so far. Really nice feel.

I have a Blue in my PXG Gen 5 so this was an easy call. Plan is to put the current shaft in my sons PXG Gen 2 and then sell the Gen 5 with an old shaft to a friend.

Ah, gotcha. If this plays as well as well out on the course as it is, so far, on the sim it’ll be a great upgrade.

Yes, really like how well this shaft works for me in the PXG. Can’t imagine it not working in the Aerojet.

A couple purchases for me from Golfworks recently:  a 4 iron to top off my set of TS3 irons with Project X LZ shaft, and after reading several good things, a Project X wedge shaft to try.  I will test it in my 54° Cleveland and if I like it put it in the 58° too.

After getting a new driver, and of course the mandatory new shiny stuff to go with it, I’ve decided to wait on new wedges for now. I really like my Clevelands so going to give them another season and closely track my stats with tuen52° and 56°.

Huge fan of the Project X LZ shafts right here. I’m curious how they work out in the wedges, that may be my next step.

I'm curious too @ParFore74x.  The PX wedge shafts are not LZ specifically, but I read elsewhere that they blend very well and for those who like the LZ feel they will recognize it in the wedge shaft too.  They are also supposed to be somewhat lower flying, like the LZ shafts are for me, which may be good.  I will report back after trying them out.

Walked into the local Golf+, browsing, and the clerk just marked these down. Had $10 golfbucks coupon, so after tax, $5.23

Also got to hit the new smoke driver while there. This thing is light!  I actually lost yardage by about 17 yards avg. Took about 8 swings. It truly feels like a kids toy. My swing speed was 82-84mph. Ball speed (prov1x) was 124mph. And the head is massive!

Even though I haven't bought anything new to add to my bag and with Christmas and my birthday just weeks apart, my family thought that I was now old I would benefit by receiving a Ping Chipr and a new Alta CB senior flex shaft for my Ping driver. Except for the old part, was thankful for the gifts.

I’ve never used the barrel style headcover so I was a touch concerned about how well they would stay on. I am pleased with how secure they fit and how easily they come off when I want them off. One thing that I really like about the Cayce headcovers is the liner material. It reminds me of the sherpa liner inside of a Carhartt jacket. I told my wife that it helps to keep the clubs warm. Of course, she rolled her eyes at me but it was funny.

I just bought my first Autoflex driver shaft for my Titleist TSR2.  A buddy wouldn't stop praising his Autoflex during one of our last rounds so I decided I had to try one for myself.  Does anyone else have experience with these shafts?

I'm stuck in simulator season so I'm eager to get it outdoors.  I've gotten out once to hit it into the screen and so far I like it.  Definitely a shaft that relies on consistent tempo.

How long did you use it for and did the durability hold up over that full time?  What made you decide to switch away from it?

I had no issue with durability, though it certainly does feel a little fragile.

Against my better judgement I bought the 505X when I was swinging about 105-106 MPH. I stuck to a real gym routine/Rypstick training the winter following my season with it and went up to 112+ MPH. I did a full bag fitting that spring and couldn't get the spin on the AF down under 4,000 even with the head turned down to 8 degrees and hitting up a bit. 

As soon as I switched to my current Motore F1 X my spin came way down to the right levels and I gained a ton of distance.

@revkev can chime in a bit too - but the moral of my time with the AF was that it was either really, really, really good or really bad. I didn't have a lot of in between with it.

Driver, despite my speed, is also the worst part of my game so please take that into consideration.
