Good lord those 0211 DC's have strong loft. The 2 iron is pretending to be a 4.  😉

Sure but if your like me and you love to not take a ton of loft off and spin the ball like crazy I could use some stronger lofts with less spin. I can get my PING i500 7 iron spinning at around 7000 on GC Quad with a Left Dash. Of course I should try to change delivery a bit, but means a stronger lofted lower spinning head would actually help.

I hear you.  It's funny, even knowing the loft is that strong and knowing that it's really a two iron I find it less intimidating that it's called a 4. -- which I think is exactly what is intended with the iron 'number they use'.  So, I guess just lie to me, and I can hit anything.  😄

I'm actually on the opposite end of what you described where strong loft was hurting me as I wasn't getting a lot of height and spin. Switching out to the mid-high trajectory spin of the Elevate Tour shafts has solved that.  I'm actually very intrigued by either these 0211s with the same elevate tour or the 699 pros with the C-taper light.  I think either would be great for my game.

Pretty happy with mine, and with the MMT shafts. Good Luck and happy pin hunting with them!!

I wanted to give the yellow Maxfli Tour X's a shot following my great success during my review of them, but they still have not come in stock.

If you're interested in the 2019 non-X (3 pc) Tour Yellow they're clearing them out at Dick's / Golf Galaxy .. 2 dozen for $45.

Sadly, I didn't get along very well with the 2021 Tours, so I went back to my trusty MTB-Xs. Not sure if I'd have had the same experience with the 2019 models, but I didn't want to take the risk.

I still think I'll grab two dozen yellow Tour X next summer if they are available. They are a really good ball for me.

Birthday is tomorrow and received an extremely generous gift from a congregant.  Have already ordered and received a used auto flex 505 shaft.  Also have ordered a new grip and putter head for my EVNRoll.  Hoping against hope that the grip will be in stock. 😞

Edison Wedges 54 and 59 KBS Tour Graphite 80's

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Still on that elusive hunt for a 3 wood that I'm able to hit - I don't know why, I crush the 5 wood and it's really a 4 wood anyway.

I bought an Callaway 2015 XR driver with the stock San Diego LZ hand made shaft, adjusted to 2+ loft (11) degree.

Not bad but I am healing it a little to much..!

Was shocked to find MTB-X Optic Yellow and no more two dozen limit on Snell's website this morning. I hadn't checked in a few weeks. So, I scooped up five dozen to add to the remaining two dozen in my basement for next season. Price isn't quite as good as it once was, and there's shipping now, but altogether with tax they came out to $34.55/dozen. Still tough to beat.

I wanted to give the yellow Maxfli Tour X's a shot following my great success during my review of them, but they still have not come in stock.

Since I was on a mini spending spree, I hopped over to Costco and grabbed eight more Kirkland gloves. Again, pricing has increased slightly, but at $7.51/each delivered I can't buy a better glove anywhere else.

Argh! Just missed Snell’s restocking of their shelves … ordered 5 boxes of Vice Pros earlier this week. 😕 The recent MGS ball test left my impressed with Vice’s improvements on their golf balls.

Picked up a dozen of both to try a few rounds of each (2nd time for X LS) with my BIL before the end of the season. The never ending quest!

Interested on your take of Tour Speed.

I'm picking up a sleeve at the course when I play tomorrow.  The Tour Soft was my winter ball last year, and the ProV1x was my summer ball.

I am wondering if the Tour Speed could be the ball I play all year.

Yesterday, I doubled down on my Fuji Pro iron shaft testing by ordering a 95i Tour Spec in stiff.  I'll plug it in to one of the other heads in the set I'm using for testing; another clubhead has a 115i Tour Spec stiff.  We'll have a shaft weightathon.

Also scored another three GripMaster Roo grips, and a light blue leather putter grip for my lovely spouse (so I can reclaim the lime green leather on the putter she's been using).  My wife is a fan of blue and teal in nearly everything.  😎

Will definitely let you know, Ill be out sometime next week.

I was really impressed with the Tour Soft last year and after the MGS ball test, combing through the data I was surprised that the Tour Speed checks A LOT of boxes of what I am looking for (low driver spin, long, enough iron check). I wish that the side stamp for Tour Speed was the same as the Tour Soft, I loved it- really clean looking. The Tour Speed side stamp looks kind of tacky and gimmicky to me but I will certainly get over it if it performs!

I really like the Fuji pro iron shafts.  Harry and Phillip at MGS headquarters have them in their irons so,I have had an opportunity to give them a go.   Tried a bunch of the graphite shafted irons they got in for testing and the Fuji was one of the best.
