Popular Post Dog Faced Pony Soldier
Decided to pull my 60º to make room for a 3w this year because backing down to my SIM2 Max 5w off the tee was over 40 yards shorter than my driver. My fellow Club Hos might understand that this inspired me to refresh my entire fairway wood set since my SIM2 Max 5w and 7w are a few years old now. While I went into my fitting with a slight preference towards Titleist or TaylorMade heads, I was surprised to find Srixon's ZX MKII performed best for me. I teamed the 15º, 18º, and 21º heads with Graphite Design Tour AD DI-7 Extra Stiff shafts in black, and my preferred MCC Classic Align grips. I needed the putter bent 4 degrees flat. That made the putter level and gave me a more consistent stroke. Without bending the putter my strikes and roll was inconsistent. Popular Post ChiefMikeOfficer
I'm a bit of a sucker for smaller and up-and-coming brands, and was intrigued by the add-ons for this (although I just knocked SP4 on another chain for similar "can't select my own stuff" reasons...I still wanted to give these guys a shot): Joined the North Coast Golf Co Coast Club, Pines level. Tried their gloves last year, and they're great. Club comes with 6 gloves, a welcome pack, a "pre-released R&D item" later in the summer, and 20% off+free shipping all year. Then quickly had some buyer's remorse, because immediately purchased their Bogey Jones Cooler/Range bag before confirming the 20% off info (which didn't show up until this morning)...but, it looked sweet, so wanted to grab it before it sold out (they got me with the "only 6 left" banner -- stock image because it's not here yet, but down to only 4 in stock): sirchunksalot, Michael.Sandoval33, MattF and 9 others 9 3 Quote Driver: Stealth Plus 8* (adjusted to 8.75*), Mitsubishi Diamana ZF 70 X Flex (New toy incoming!)
