WOW ! Nothing like some Masters Tix to make your year !  My brother won 4 - Monday tix to last years tourney, can't even describe how awesome it is. If you're bring your clubs, try and play Westlake, and Champions Retreat... Kinda spendy, but only open during Masters week (both private clubs) absolutely worth the money / time!!

Ope, on a roll this week... ordered this a few weeks ago to replace the Stealth. Got a slightly lighter shaft that should still work for me, but TBD on whether I use this or just swap the ZF over from the Stealth. Wasted a grip upgrade though - got a Lamkin Calibrate just to try, but must have missed the option to install at +0.75 (there's a rib down the back, so it needs to be installed straight).

Have a new set of heads that's I will be getting. Stunt be coming till the fall though. More details on that later!

However it has lead me to go on a shaft hunt. Going to look to do a special build and want shafts to go along with that. 

Long wait but worth it!

Went to the Dallas Golf expo today with the kiddo and had a good time.

Spent more money than planned though. First I stumbled across a booth selling the 21 TP5/TP5x balls 2 for $70 but I noticed 3 dozen 24 TP5 Pix sitting in the back. Grabbed them and asked if these are 2 for $70 as well and they said yes so couldn’t turn that deal down. 
The kiddo really found this putter grip so got it for him. It’s a cool design and the matching ball marker the magnets to the top is a great idea. 

Also came across the Putt Master Putting Trainer. I will use it myself but mainly wanted it for the kiddo to give him the feel of not just flipping his hands for putts and chips. They had it at the show for $40 but recently partnered with orange whip and will be in all retail stores that carry orange whip soon and will probably be $60 to $65 retail. So had to snag it. Will also be changing the color to orange. 

Finally after my kiddo egging me on and the fact it was green one of my favorite colors I got a vivid golf range finder as they had it for $130 instead of the normal $240 on their site. In the venue I was a little worried about lens glare with all the lights but it was locking on quickly with scanning different things and looked through it really quick outside when leaving and looked good. 
so the lesson of the day is don’t take your kid with you to a golf expo because he was not help convincing me out of buying things and if anything was on the salesman side .

The grip you got is the "Shark Bape" design. Bape was (maybe still is) a streetwear brand. Cool find by your kiddo.

These adidas I got for a steal off eBay came in while I was at work today! I usually wear New Balance wides, but for so cheap($54 delivered) I’ll give these a shot as a backup shoe at the very least in case my trusty NB’s get water logged one day.

Bought a test to be disclosed driver shaft for the Qi10 LS. Will be a lot different than what I would normally play so for $50 it was worth a flyer. If it works it could be a new trend for the top end of my bag.

Got an email about a sale, went to their site, clicked Add To Cart .. opened another browser tab and searched for discount codes (hey c'mon CHAs gotta save a buck when they can!) .. checkout accepted the code BUT .. could NOT get past the Address section...

Even though I clicked on their suggested address, rechecked for any other typos, etc .. even emptied the cart, closed that tab and restarted the whole shopping process over .. same problem....

Sent their customer "service" an email yesterday with a full screen screenshot and still haven't heard back....

I've got a gently-used Lagshot 7i in my garage (along with an unused PW) if you're interested.  Make me an offer - big fan of their clubs - their driver has helped me a bunch in finding my rhythm.

I use a website/app called Honey. I think it’s also available as a chrome extension but essentially what it does it scans for discount codes so you don’t have to. Sometimes there’s discounts from emails or whatever that won’t be on there but for the most part it’s great.

You're definitely right. The face near the shaft is 100% the Warhawk face. The top grip face would be the "Shark Face". Makes sense why Bape made a lot of the sweaters in Olive Green.

I knew what it was from right away since my grandfather flew them. My son on the other hand just thought it looked cool. He also thought it was cool when I told him about the plane and his great grandfather. Love it when you get things that bring up history he wasn’t aware of and a small link to his great grandfather who he unfortunately never got to meet.

My latest purchase is a boring one but supremely important. Living in Florida, good socks can be one of the most important items that you never really think about. I've always just bought whatever was available, normally Footjoy brand. Wool anything in Florida is out of the equation. Well, I have purchased some Kentwool WOOL socks. I am super impressed by them. Granted this is not summer, but so far they are the best socks EVER!

got my True second chance shoes today.

these are the all day ripstop. 
they're very comfortable and lightweight but they don't feel like they have a lot of support.
I was recommended a size 10 but should have gone with 9.5 as there is quite a bit of room between my toe and the end of the shoe.
they seem nice and were 80.00 with shipping but no returns or exchanges so I'll need to wear a couple pair of socks. lol.

for "second chance" shoes they seem very nice and practically brand new in case you're looking for a good deal on true shoes (orig price is 150)

also - I have to buy wide shoes and these fit my feet nicely.
