I've seen enough strange readings to not want to rely on it, hence my own purchase.  The added irony, I play a course that happens to provide very accurate GPS readings.  I know the woman who mapped it, she was a college golfer and both conscientious and meticulous.  GPS users at this course are lucky. 
 

We ran into the same thing years ago at Indian Wells down here. They had GPS on the carts and we ran into the same thing. Also they were not accurate at all. Now to give credit GPS on the golf course was in it's infancy then as were range finders. I actually had and still have one of the first Bushnells ( and it still works) you know the clunky heavy ones. Now the sprinkler heads had been laser shot and were dead on plus I had played enough tournament golf there I had yardages walked off and in my notebook. One of my partners has a GPS and sometimes he makes me want to throw both him and the GPS in a lake. He does not have one idea how to use it properly. Now our course does not have the sensors on the top of the flags. He can not fathom the fact that there is difference from where the pin is and what his GPS says is like the back of the green. Now I will admit I sorta cheat since I know the course so well that I know about where every pin placement will be in regards to steps right or left etc. Me personally I trust my range finder and my instinct

Stopped by a Play It Again Sports that’s pretty far out of the way to look for a 3 Wood to play with. Found a leftie (!) with a light graphite regular flex shaft (!!) and a midsize (!!!) grip. Very seldomly do I find leftie equipment at all, let alone lighter clubs with bigger grips. Seemed like destiny so I pulled the trigger at $70. Absolutely loved it on the range both off the tee and mat. Very excited to give it a spin on the course, and the midsize CP2 grip might win me over my brand new jumbo CPx’s.

Got it today and just as I thought it’s a single Diamond head. The seller listed it as a triple diamond head so I got a great deal on it. This is the Sub Zero version but not the 440. Still can’t find much info on it other than possibly started as a prototype for Steph Curry, super low spin, and fade biased.

I've had this 3 wood for years... I have constantly been trying to find something that can beat it but ultimately wind up putting this back in the bag.  Great find!!!

After reading through the Unofficial Review thread on the Rypstick system, I pulled the trigger yesterday and placed the order.  Ready to start my protocol and hopefully increase my swing speed across my bag.

Newest addition to the toy box is the large PuttOut mat and blue pressure putt trainer.

Weirdly, I ordered the mat directly from their site but it was packaged and delivered by Amazon. I wanted the patriot range edition pressure putt trainer which is out of stock online, but found it at Golf Galaxy. GG also had the masters edition gear available in store still, so if that’s your thing then check out their stock.

We're heading back north in another week so had to make a last stop at the Sarasota PGA Superstore since it's only 30 min away. Wife immediately went to the discount rack for clothes - I on the other hand was looking for a 3 wood. An even though lefty stuff is scarce, I found what I was looking for. LTDx with a Smoke iM10 shaft. Wonder how they knew it was on my wish list.  However, I did keep going back and forth between it and the Radspeed 3 Wood with a Tensi shaft, but my wife encouraged me to spend the extra $$ for the LTDx. I love shopping with her. 

As an added +, it came with a lamkin grip instead of the std ARRCOS grip so I can immediately install a Shotscope sensor and not wait til I install my MCC+4.

Back about a month or so ago one of the tourists had one. I think he was making a show of it up by the putting green. He was out by the patio swinging that thing and had his wife on the laptop doing I guess analysis. Even though I am Old School and set in my ways I could see if used properly it could benefit.

Well I did it, I bought the Mizuno OMOI 2 black putter!! Happy birthday to me! I tested it against Scotty Cameron Newport 2, COBRA Grandsport 35, and Odyssey Tri-Hot 5k. Did not get along with Scotty, and I really liked the Cobra. In the end it came down to Odyssey and Mizuno, with the Mizuno being the one.

That's a nice birthday present to treat yourself to! I love the finish on the head and that grip pairs well with it. Have fun with it!

It looks amazing, and feels like a Mizuno. It helped me shoot my best round in months. It’s something when it makes the Left Dash feel good.

I held off for quite a while... Then the dam broke and bought new irons, wedges, electric cart, net return and hitting surface.... RCT golf balls... I still need a bag and my 3 wood is 4 or 5 years old...
