Well the Srixon buying spree continued. Ordered a Z565 driver today.

 

Then promptly stopped ion the way home to demo and get fit for the F7 and F7+. Hot both extensively. Will post some thoughts in the forum review thread.

LOL...Yeah, I gues I did. Well I'm truth it will only be 2, I will draw the line at one or the other F7's not both. Oh and the Z765 was in strong coonsideratuoj as well. So it could have been four.

So...after trying the Epic and Epic SZ this year through tinkering....and eventually deciding to get fit...would anyone care to guess which driver ended up winning/was purchased today....haha

That's one they didn't have....so no. I got fit for....the Epic with a different shaft haha. Started with 6 drivers and this one won out...Ball speed and distance jumped a bit from my XR16 Pro and the dispersion was better. And the forgiveness too....

 

Clearly I'm not as good of a tinkerer as I thought...hahaha

Fujikura 62g stiff. Such a stable shaft. Had me try the HZRDUS T800 65g, 55g and Aldila Rogue 70. Good swing with those would give me 225 carry. Hit the Fujikura and was around 231. Not a great day for my swing but was happy with my first actual "fitting"....so Epic round 3 will begin soon haha

I was killing the 917 and the epic even on off-center hits, but I didn't put it up against my current gamer (TM R15) on an LM to see if there was an appreciable gain in distance. Sometimes with the R15, I feel like it's harder to feel it load vs the other two, but this is most likely the shaft.

I'm a hybrid kind of guy as fairway woods and I just don't get er done.  I have tried several different brands and I end up trading them in.  Well today I did a lot of research and heavy duty thinking about adding a 16 degree to my bag.   I have an 18 degree hybrid which is equal to a 5 - wood however I wanted a tad more fire power equal to a 3 or 4 wood.  Sooooooooo after seeing Rock Bottom Golf had a 50% off sale today, I bit the bullet and hopped on the Mizuno train.  I've never gamed a Mizuno wood or hybrid so this is going to be an interesting honey moon.   I hope I get me some on our first date.....

Yep...    That's exactly what I'm looking for.  A club that I can use off the tee on the shorter par four holes and a good approach weapon for the par fives and long uphill par fours.

I haven't been hitting my driver all that far, so my driver is perfect for all those shorter par 4 holes.

Just got a Cobra bio cell driver i know its a older club but i cant afford new ones and i have a 3wood bio cell and i love it so figure the driver would be just as good

thats a good driver. Cobra makes some good equipment and Bio Cell was one of my favorites.

It's hard to beat a Cobra driver IMO and I'm pretty sure you will be a happy camper.
