Just got a Cobra bio cell driver i know its a older club but i cant afford new ones and i have a 3wood bio cell and i love it so figure the driver would be just as good

had a bio cell + and I liked it.  I just wasn't fit for it.  Hit some good drives with it though.

 

I think Cobra is certainly one of the best driver brands.  Not sure about their other clubs but they make some good drivers.

i agree. I think the ability to adjust loft and not open or close the face is great. Based on reviews they seem to improve year after year.

I think I am finally at the point I can't buy golf gear. I like what I have in my bag and can't see it changing. Took my youngest to PGA SS in the way home from her field trip and even she couldn't talk me into a new putter. I think it has been about six weeks since I bought anything club related which has to be a record for me. Spent an hour in there and she got a new Titleist hat for her lesson on Sunday. She told me that her instructor saw her in all the hats that she has and wanted something new....she is 6 and I am doomed.

I never have but there is literally nothing on the market right now that interests me besides what I have in the bag. I have been trying but just can't find anything that interests me right now.

Needed a less draw bias hybrid so I got a new in wrapper x2 hot pro 20 hybrid off ebay for $39.

 

Put it in the bag on Sunday and first shot was a beautiful 225 yard baby draw into a par 5 that left me with an eagle putt.

First, an irons fitting followed by .. yep .. a stupidly expensive new (well, mostly new) set of irons, 5-PW.

 

5-8 are Cobra King OS heads, re-using the 5i OS head I already had; 9-PW are the King F6 heads I already had; and all with new Recoil 807 - Pure'ed - shafts and CP2 Wrap grips.

 

And it all comes with their "Performance Guarantee" .. .. which he assured me means lo 70s scores from now on....

Amazon is pretty good, I bought 2 dozen new Chrome Soft X truvis black and yellow balls last night at about 8 o'clock, and they were delivered at 10am.

I almost bought a golf bag on Amazon the other day, for a fair amount more than I would have paid for it directly from the OEM.  But with my Prime membership, I would have had it in two days as opposed to 7 days or so.  

 

I don't know what force kept me from hitting buy, but I'm glad it did

Most of the time i will only buy if the price is the same as the store and has free shipping, no sense in spending more when I can get the same thing at the store for less. Unless I really need it and can't find it in the store

Yeah, and -- that's not all... After a follow-up email exchange thus morning with the fitter I decided it made more sense to make the set the same all the way through, ie. make the 9i and PW match the 5-8.

 

I mean, I went through the whole fitting with the idea of finding something that should (quote-unquote) work better for me. So............

I last week I went and got fit for a putter for the first time! I wish I would have done it a long time ago. However, I went into the fitting really wanting the Ping Anser Sigma G blade. I ended up buying an Odyssey O-Works #1W putter. I absolutely love it!

 

Now I need to convince my wife to let me buy a Cobra F7 driver, as our local golf store is giving a free F7 fairway woods or Hybrid with the purchase of the driver!
