Dan1993
My wife hates it, but I've been on the hunt for new golfing hat, and have just been swing and missing for months. Tried the Melin, liked the material, didn't like the fit (Odyssey), tried on a bunch at Golf Galaxy and just could find one that I liked the material and the fit. Finally ordered a couple of Branded Bills hats and I think I finally found my golf hat. My wife rejoiced lolol. In other news! Have been slowly selling off old clubs to fund a fitting and a full new bag at the end of the season. Doing pretty well so far selling on FB Marketplace. Almost have everything sold to afford the fitting and set of irons, then sell the old irons to fund the driver, rinse and repeat for the rest of the bag. Popular Post Tom the Golf Nut
I picked up a new pair of Puma Ignite Boas back in February and wore them during the Kingsmill outing. I went to wear them last Sunday and noticed the Puma emblem in the middle of the boa tightening system was missing on one shoe. I sent Puma Golf an email and asked for a replacement emblem. Gave them a copy of the purchase confirmation. They do have a 1 year warranty. Not even 10 minutes later I got an email that a replacement pair of shoes was shipping. They didn’t even blink an eye. I just wanted the emblem. Serious customer service. So I just removed the other insert and painted the inside and bolt head black. Then filled the cavity with resin on both shoes. Bingo looks good and I got a new pair of shoes in transit. rkj427, MattF, Lefty11 and 12 others 10 1 4 Quote Driver, TSi 1 S Flex 3 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 7 Wood, Aerojet Max UST Helium Nanocore R Flex 5 Hybrid King Tec MMT R Flex Irons, Vice VGI01 Mitsubishi Wiz 60-gram regular flex (6 - PW) VGW01, 50 Degree. Popular Post cnosil
When you want to do a new putter build, you need to start with a putter head. Wanted to build a blade style putter with a graphite shaft of some kind. Probably in late 2000s I played a center shafted Sizemore putter which I liked but obviously like other putters that I have used I moved on to try other things. While looking I ran across a Bruce Sizemore putter that is from his new company (More Golf) at a price that I was willing to pay. It arrived yesterday and it is exactly what I was looking for: More Golf Render blade putter with Oban stepless steel putter shaft and JumboMax 1.2 grip. Based on rolling a few carpet putts it feels a little head heavy and the ball seems to be hot off the face. Both are good traits since I am thinking about maybe counterbalancing the putter to get more weight under my hands. The face of the putter is definitely unique; it feels like fine grit sandpaper. nc23nick
Hey everyone, wanted some advice. I have been playing golf now for the last two years. I have been using the Calloway Edge set from Cosco. I am currently a 21 HC per 18 Birdies. I play once a week usually, at minimum once every two weeks. For the last 6 months, I consistently score between a 93-97. Got a new PR of 90 the other day! My question -- is it worth upgrading my Edge set? I got fitted for a AI Smoke Driver and AI Smoke Irons/G430 Irons (toss up between the two per my fitter). Thank you in advance for the guidance! :) Preeway, cksurfdude, Rob Person and 4 others

Asking a group of golfers if you should get new clubs is like asking a dog if they want walkies I am of the opinion that if your clubs are working well for you then is it worth buying a full new set. But on the flip side if you want them, can afford them, and feel you will get your money's worth out of them over the years then 100% go for it. A good set of clubs can last you years.
