Kenny B
5 hours ago, Golfspy_TCB said: Fair comments all Kenny. The thing I love about the DF2.1 vs. my Scotty is that I have to manage the face a bit (I have a tendency to set up with a closed face, then work to "square" it back to my target line). I also struggle with the proper "press'. Both those things feel immediately natural with the LAB. It sets up square when I put it down and I REALLY like the press grip. I'm not kicking my Scotty out of bet for eating crackers by any means... but for a 50%+ discount on msrp... I've spent my money on worse things... haha. Magic... yes, that is what I want oh, and I have a few bottles in the fridge that are waiting for it's delivery too I guess I'm curious why you set up your Scotty with a closed face. Were you fit for it? Does that happen with all putters at PGASS? 1 Quote “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”

I am sure it is a faulty Tim opposed to anything else... but I do fight it. The slant necks are much better from a setup standpoint. I have a TwoBall Ten slant that sets up open to me. 2 Quote Titleist TSR3 9* (A2 setting) Driver - Otto Phlex PLB 45 "L" Srixon ZX 3W & 5W Titleist TSi2 5 Hybrid TaylorMade Stealth 5-PW Titleist Vokey SM9 50-08, 54-10 & 58-08 Scotty Cameron Special Select Newport 2.5 Maxfli Tour / Titleist AVX

RichL85
A lot. Let's just say that a recent bonus and a full day of time to kill before my flight this evening were not a good combination. Will be waiting a bit to get the new sticks, but the fitting had a few aspects that were both expected and surprising. If these clubs last as long as my current set, then I will be set for all clubs until 2037. 2 Quote All PXG Bag: Driver: 0811XF Gen 4 w/ Fujikura Motore X F3 6- 3 Wood: 0341XF Gen 4 w/ Mitsubishi Diamana S+ 70g Hybrids: 19 and 22 degree 0317XF Gen 4 w/ Project X Evenflow Riptide 80g Irons: 5-PW 0311P Gen 4 w/ KBS Tour 120 Wedges: 50, 54, 58 degree 0311 3X Forged w/ KBS Tour 120 Putter: Battle Ready Blackjack, 36.5”, Double Bend neck My 2021 review of the Spornia SPG-7 hitting net: https://forum.mygolfspy.com/tests/20-spornia-compact-hitting-net/?do=findReview&review=66 My PXG fitting at Orlando location: https://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/53343-the-experience-of-updating-an-old-bag/ My review of the 2023 Titleist White Box ProV1's: https://forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/53743-2022-official-member-review-titleist-pro-v1pro-v1x-white-box/?do=findComment&comment=870552
Keeper905
Ordered and received a PXG Bat Attack Battle Ready Putter. I've had my Spider putter since the beginning in 2008 and I haven't looked back. I'm just finding it a bit too heavy for me these days and wanted to try something a little different, but still face balanced and such. Had it for one round and I like it. But next year I will really get into it and sort it out proper. 4 Quote Chiller Cart Bag Stealth Plus 9° - HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 70 X-Stiff Sim Max Rocket 3wd 14° - HZRDUS Smoke Black 70 X-Stiff Sim2 Max Rescue 4H 22° - Ventus Blue 7S King Forged Tec 2020 - 5 thru PW - Dynamic Gold S400 CBX 2 54° Wedge Smart Sole 3 Sand Wedge 58° Bat Attack Battle Ready Putter 34" Tracking
CarlH
Was in Plano (Dallas) for my birthday and went to the PGA Superstore. Picked up a couple of pair of performance slacks for fall/winter golf. Wife gave me 2 dozen Snell MTBX balls for the b'day. And I had just picked up 2 dozen Maxfli Tour balls. With the 3 or 4 dozen Maxfli, Snell, and ProV1 balls at the house, I'm set for a few rounds 4 Quote Driver: Rogue ST Max (10.5* set at -1 and neutral) -- Mitsubishi Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Fairway: Rogue ST Max 3 wood (16.5*) and Heaven Wood (20*)-- Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Hybrids: Rogue ST Max 5H (23*)--Tensai Blue 55g R shaft Irons: Apex CF19 6-9, PW, AW -- KBS Tour Graphite TGI 70 shafts R +1/2 inch 3* upright Wedges: Edison 53* and 57* KBS PGI 80 Graphite +1/2 inch 2* upright Putter: Stroke Lab 7S Ball: Maxfli TourX...Golf Bag: Pioneer...Shoes: Hyperflex...
