PMookie Posted June 10, 2017 Share Posted June 10, 2017 After getting my driver checked by my teacher, and hitting balls on TrackMan with various shafts, he recommended I go ahead and re-shaft my driver. I told him I wanted a "one-way miss" and to tighten dispersion. We decided on going to a Fujikura Evolution 65X based on the results from four shafts. I sent off my driver to him yesterday and should have it back by the end of next week. He is going to tip it and CPM it to make sure it falls in to the true X range, and then "spline" it so the shaft aligns on the "-1" or 8* setting on the adaptor. Yes, but statistically speaking he has been one of the worst putters on tour over the years, that's one of the biggest reasons why he hasn't won a lot. The guy has a pure swing and is very likeable. I was just messing with Jmike because Haney tries to shove that thing on people every chance he gets. Dude is an obvious shill for them and Callaway. I'm sure the grip is fine but it isn't magic. And like Koradoor says, Rose isn't who I'd want to model my putting game after. I think Matsuyama may have used it for a bit too. Not interested in putting like him either lol. With that said, the grip may indeed be awesome.
