Finally!! Can't wait to hear the results. Oh we are having a little get together down in VA on the 22nd if you want to show it off. But it way down in VA, closer to Richmond.

We'll be in Philly that day visiting some friends but I appreciate the offer! That's a bit of a hike but my goal is to get down your way atleast once before the end of the year for a round with some of you!

So after reading the most wanted sunglasses article... I started doing research on sunglasses lenses. Never thought about the effect that green/black lenses had on reading putting greens. I have, however, lost balls in the clouds after a shot. I'm not a fan of the high school baseball coach Oakley look, so I bought some New Wayfarers in Brown polarized lenses to wear for golf, and keep the black ones for every day. I like the half-asian Tom Cruise look I got going on :P Thankfully I'm not his height.

Finally getting around to putting a new shaft in my Apex UT.  Not a huge fan of the stock Recoil so I ordered an Aldila RIP Tour 115x to throw in it.  Should be here by Friday and hopefully in enough time to get it in the bag for Saturday.

I won enough shop credit and picked up a Scotty Cameron Newport Cameron and Crown,

 

A bit disappointed it doesn't feel half as good as my TP Mills fleetwood.

Like them a lot. They are a lot softer than the regular MCC grips and like the reduced taper. I had full cord grips prior to these and they were tough on the hands.

Beyond that, my bag has remained unchanged for probly a couple years now, except replacing a wedge that was worn down. But replaced with the same thing, so that doesn't really count.

Used some shop credit on two dozen Chrome Soft X golf balls. Heard good things so I will give them a shot.

I finally picked up a dozen of the new Tour Q - Star Srixon balls and will put these puppies in play tomorrow!
