Just ordered a Mizuno S23 52°/10°  and 58°/12°  wedge. Both 2° flat. Looking for a bit more forgiveness and more bounce than my current wedges. I had about $65 in golf galaxy gift cards and more importantly I needed to address my new equipment itch.

Just played 9 this morning with my 13 and 11 y/o and their words on 17th tee holy crap dad that’s a rocket! I only played it off the tee as my home track is a shorter course but man I am sold on it. I may not hit my Radspeed XB off the tee for the foreseeable future. I was 15 yards longer on at least 2 holes. I want to get it out on some longer courses, but as of right now I’m digging it!

Quick update on the UA shoes I'd picked up...

They fit right!!! This is def point #1 as everyone knows different brands have different fits for the same numerical size... eg. Adidas seem slightly larger to me, Skechers sightly smaller in the same 8 ½.

Easy to lace, laces stay put, traction seems solid and stability is pretty good!

Oh these are one of the mid range spikeless models.

I'll third it, it should help shine up the back of those beautiful irons really nicely. Rub it in with some #0000 steel wool and buff it off with a soft towel.

Saw some early signs that this Future Club Ho is a lefty... 

 

Turns out The Littlest Golfer makes the same set in left-handed, and got that over the weekend (video is him with big bro's RH set). Highly recommend these clubs if you're trying to get a 2-3 year-old into the game (worked wonders for our now 4-year-old, who actually still uses them in the backyard) -- they're light, well-constructed, somewhat realistic (heads are a bit oversize, but that's OK), come with a teaching grip on both the driver and iron, and they're plastic with foam balls so they are safe to use indoors on carpet (like during Wisconsin winters). The plastic is also the downside -- can't use them with real balls / at the driving range.

I got some custom ball markers and divot tools made up for mine and my mates idiot 4 man scramble team. We were trying to decide on a name, and after an argument about the best sausage roll at the turn we've ever had after having a pretty decent one recently, I present to you; Team Sosig Roll.

Ordered a Jaws Raw 60 X grind from CPO a couple degrees flat. Reading about the X grind intrigued me, and i've had my LW for 4 or 5 years i think (at least), so it was time. It's served me well

Also picked up 3 dozen of the Z star diamonds. I've flip flopped between the Z star and the XV, so excited to see how i like this ball. Srixon has also turned me into a fanboy because of their affordable premium balls. Can pretty much find them on sale year round, or at least stock up when they run their deals.

Agreed, they have great options. I'm trying Q Star tour currently to see if I want a softer compression around the greens and $35 doz in DSG was fine. My dad wants to try slightly firmer than the Bridgestone e12 contact he plays so I gave him a sleeve. He commented on how cheap the Srixion soft feel is, $23.99 doz and with Bridgestone raising price recently he is shopping around. I gave him a bunch of found balls to see if he likes one. I think TM soft response might fit him, but also the soft feel.

How'd you feel standing over it? I hit a OL hybrid at my fitting for the Cobra's and it just felt off. Did I hit lasers? Yes. 

I stopped by Lowe's today and found a dog toy similar to what is used with the ProSendr. We then stopped at Wal-Mart and I got a lanyard to keep me from losing it. I give the lanyard bonus points for being Snoopy.

Hit up DSG after my round finally going to see if a 50g counterweight helps balance my putter.

Saw Palm gloves 25% off. I never try them bc they are $$ but I figured wth got me and Dad a glove for $19 each. They are nice.
