Just checked on my order for new mizuno jpx923 hm’s.  Originally told 4-5 week back order, and I’m 3+ weeks in.  Told likely another 3 weeks.  Memorial Day slowed them down - guess they didn’t see that coming.  The next step in my fitting is hybrids/woods and wedges and we were going to want to see what my gaps from the irons are.  May at this point just take a guess and steer clear of Mizuno.  Was hoping to have everything by ….never mind.  Technically haven’t purchased as I won’t get billed through my club until delivered to them.

A Costco trip led to picking up a pack of 2 dozen of the Kirkland Signature 3-piece balls. I also received a Ping shaft adapter for my G400 Max driver that I ordered off of EBay. I dropped that and my other EBay purchase, a Fujikura Motore X F3 shaft, at the local club repair shop to put it all together.

Has anyone had any experience with shaft adapters purchased on EBay? I was going to get it from Golfworks but they want $9 to ship it. My Ebay purchase was $12, and it included shipping. I was ok with the adapter price of $27 but I found the shipping charge to be ridiculous for something as small as the adapter.

In Perry, FL this past weekend celebrating my great granddaughter’s first birthday and SWMBO wanted to go to their Walmart. In the clearance aisle they had 2 dozen Titleist Trufeel yellow balls. They weren’t real clearance but they were $3 off the msrp. Now they are mine.

bought a G430 max driver and it finally came in today. I have 9 hole league and going to give it a whirl in it. This may replace my stealth, fitting said it should but I also think my swing has been off. Also have a paradym hybrid coming in since I struggle to hit my 4i.

My growing putter collection no longer fits in the staff bag where I store my clubs normally, so I shuffled all my practice balls out of my den caddy and shifted things around. The best news here is that I now have room for way more putters 😆

After testing them out I was a little surprised that the diamond had the best #s compared to Trackman optimization from when I have used it. IMG_1766.jpeg.55221c6c87b018ad6049e9edce1325eb.jpeg

After using the Scotty Cameron stock Pistolero Plus grip for 2 years, I decided to go back to a Super Stroke Slim 3.0 (I used a similar one with my last Scotty gamer) for the Summer with the Arccos sensor attachment.

The Scotty Pistoleros are surprisingly heavy, so adjusting it with the Super Stroke weight wise was difficult, but I was able with some help from a local grip specialist  to get it fairly close by replacing it with a lighter Super Stroke weight.

Hopefully my putting stats improve with it.

For me the Bridgestone yellow is the best lol. I didnt switch to the RXS for that reason but I really like the fact that its shows up better in the air and in deep grass to me than other yellow balls that I have tried.

Just ordered the Rhapsodo MLM 2, and now the anxious waiting game begins 😬. Hopefully with three kids under 5 this will allow me to keep practicing and "playing" golf without the time commitment of heading to the course. Anyone else have experience (positive or negative with the MLM 2)?

Just purchased two things,

Callaway Golf 2022 Chrome Soft X LS Golf Balls, Shamrock

SuperStroke Traxion Pistol GT™ 2.0 Golf Putter Grip,...

Both will be here in the morning early, grip will be on with the first 10 minutes of arrival ready for play tomorrow, the Callaway balls are something new for myself but good reviews about them and they have Shamrocks on them, Irish people cannot resist a good Shamrock.

I’ll have a quick review after I’ve tested both tomorrow.

Update, Arrived:

Picked up a dozen Srixon Z star Diamond balls. I’ve heard good things, so we’ll give ‘em a roll. Grabbed a Titleist glove. I think I’m done buying the Kirkland gloves, as they only seem to make it through a round and a couple of range sessions before needing replaced. Oh and I grabbed a blue Ultimate for the new putter as wellIMG_0761.jpeg.ddfc9a977a544ce47bc07364183cc037.jpeg

love those Garsen grips!

Nice blue ultimate.  I can get about 25 rounds out of a Kirkland glove.  Funny how they don’t last for you.

For no particular reason I am hard on gloves. Some of it has to do with hand size. Most XLs are a snug fit in the beginning and as they stretch out, they get too loose for comfort

... I don't use a glove and don't know if you have tried them, but several of my friends are very happy with their MG gloves.

Not familiar with the brand, but I appreciate the recommendation by proxy. I’ll check them out. My kingdom for a glove that lasts more than a couple of rounds…
