Looks like Rory has moved in on all of Tigers turf, first Nike and now EA. Is this the final sign that Tiger is just another guy now?

Agreed, just name it after the "league" name like NFL, NHL, NBA, FIFA etc and then rotate who gets to be on the cover.

Agreed, except for the now gold standard Madden. But I dont think we will ever have to worry about anything like "Hank Haney's PGA tour '15" or " Butch Harmon's PGA Tour '15"

I actually thought this was a joke when I first saw it yesterday.  Im not exactly sure that Rory is deserving to be the namesake of the game because he's never had the kind of influence by being the face of golf like Tiger was at his peak.

Id be fine with it not being named after a player but you know EA has money to spend, so whatever.  I'll be picking up this game when it comes out and what Ive seen thus far looks pretty awesome.

It is what it is. I'm a fan of Rory and happy to see him on the cover. I just think they could approach it the way they do their other sports games. Call it PGA Tour 15 or whatever then just have Rory on the cover. Next year maybe have someone else on the cover. Regardless, I have an XBOX One and I'll be purchasing it. It looks great and helps get me through the winter months when I can't play. Otherwise I'd be scouring the internet spending money on clubs and gear I don't need. I'll probably do that anyway, but putting that logic in my head now makes me feel better.

 

On a side note, when the game comes out if any other guys on here get it we could play online together which would be fun.

Sure you can buy clubs through an Xbox......

 

Now how about demoing clubs in game and then heading to ebay?

 

In fact come on ea sports tap into the club ho world and make EA Sports MGS Golf 2015; occasional rounds of golf interspersed by much golf talk and ebay ing - xp earnt for moaning about loft jacking, buying your 10th putter of the year and forgetting to change your fantasy team.
