Tiger-Elin talks reportedly hit $750M

Divorce talks between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren have gotten ugly, the New York Post reported Friday.

 

Nordegren has ramped up her financial demands, requesting that Woods pony up an estimated $750 million, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

 

After starting out fairly civil, the divorce negotiations "have turned extremely testy," the newspaper reported.

 

Nordegren also refuses to sign a lifetime "confidentiality clause" that would prevent her from writing a book or doing any interviews related to the collapse of the couple's marriage.

I still don't understand divorce proceedings. Yeah, Tiger's not a great guy, or husband, or father, but what exactly did she do to deserve $750 million?

My guess is that they will get in an Earnings Forensic person to breakdown exactly what he made during the time he was married to her.

I don't see Tiger or his "advisors" ( and I use that term lightly given their past advice) hiding stuff away in the Caymens/Lichtenstein.

 

The "Ace in The Hole" (pad pun) for her is the # of women and the exposure to STD's that he subjected her to.

 

If I had to guess I would peg the amount # @ 75/100 million.

Given the circumstances, IMO, she deserves and is entitled to every penny her lawyers can eke out. Given the Tiger is a notorious tightwad as well its even more fitting that she takes him to the cleaners.

yea heard he was a tight wad, when he went to vesgas none of the people at the casinos wanted to take him around because of his poor/no tippin nature make the workers angry to serve and not get any gratuity from a billionaire

Well said, and I agree completely. He'd better thank his lucky stars if he DIDN'T give something. Whether it's herpes or AIDS, no married person should have to worry about something like that.

I recently read that one of the NY mags (not Forbes, but one like it)

reported in a recent study that his net worth currently is 500 Mil. approx.

Elin maybe is looking at about 200 Mil.of that or a little more. He's got to

get back to work.
