So as a way to say thanks for the Member of the Month Award, I thought I would have some fun. 

 

I am a big fan of the Most Interesting Man in The World ad campaign. So I want to see what we could come up with for him in the golf world!

 

A few examples:

 

- His driver has two settings: in the hole, and in the hole

 

- He once aced number 17 at TPC Sawgrass , from the tee box on number 4 at Bethpage.

 

- When he plays Augusta, Chuck Norris caddies for him in a kilt!

 

- His first round on golf, he shot an 18.

 

Yeah those were off the top of my head. So lets see what we can come up with. 

 

The winner will get some golf trinket that I have at the house. Not sure what it will be, but know it will be a golf something. Should I really laugh my butt off, the winner may, just may, get the true story of Number 17 from my and jdiddyesquire's last round together. (sorry bro)

 

As with my tenure as the M.O.M. , I will announce the winner when the next M.O.M. is named.

This is absolutely hilarious! Great post Bogey! 

 

Courses have separate tee boxes just for him.

 

He once called a penalty on himself for being too good, just to make the match closer.

 

His first time to shoot his age was on his 18th birthday.

 

Someone once thought he was "away," they were mistaken.

 

When he talks to the ball, it listens.

 

He once entered a long drive competition, he won with his friend's left handed putter.

 

When he putts, the hole actually does get bigger.

 

To him, there is no such thing as a bad bounce.

 

He once won an event walking backwards just to see what second place looks like.

20 years ago I used to do that!!  I always found a lot of balls while looking for mine.  Most were better than the one I was using.  Did that make me the Most Interesting Man in the World?  I am not that interesting anymore.

I don't always hit driver on Par 4 and 5s but when I do it's so I can practice my short game.
