This looks really nice, I'm becoming a bigger and bigger fan of Adams, I actually think I could bag a whole set of Adams no problem, and actually might by the time my clubs make it through thier next rotation. The black color schemes look great too!

I game a 9015D right now and LOVE it. Adams has made some great stuff these last few years and it seems to be only getting better. Can't wait for this one!

My rep has told me that it is designed to be, as mentioned earlier, a 9015 with the Speedline aerodynamic technology. I have yet to get a chance to test it, but I know that it will be hard to knock the 9032LD out of the bag.

It's not a replacement for the Fast 10, it replace the 9032LS which has been reduced to 199 in most places that I have seen.

I don't know what is going on with Adams. I ordered a 15* SuperHybrid over 3 weeks ago at a demo day at my local range. Adams rep said it would be in "next week", then it was going to be a couple weeks, now its 3 more weeks, but the rep has one he's going to deliver.

 

Range owner said Adams was talking about having problems getting the heads? Anyone know anything? They're putting out some great product, would suck to see thier success tarnished with service issues.

A lot of companies are having trouble getting their heads from the foundries. Some are reporting 2-3 month delays.

This is true and there a compounding issues causing it. Typically this was only an issue for the small to mid size guys but at this moment almost all are having issues.

I got my SuperHybrid today! But it was because the Adams Rep brought one by the shop, not because Adams has shipped them. Adams was saying it was going to be another 2-3 weeks longer!

Adams is having some issues at the current time. I have a customer that is waiting for a 6 iron and a GW that he ordered on 4-16. Adams is still quoting 3 more weeks. Brutal..

- Very high turnover rate of labor since chinese new year almost every factory is playing catch-up in just one of the main factory towns they are down 220,000 workers.

 

- The slow 2009 made them lay workers off

 

- They anticipates a decent first qtr. for 2010 but the majority of OEM's did not have any order past the first qtr.

 

- So there were a lot of layoffs done...so when the orders did come in they were understaffed.

 

- Another MAJOR IMPACT is the Chinese government now helping farmers by paying them to farm their land...this has caused many of the youth who would ship into to the factories for work to now stay home and farm their land instead of work in the factories.

 

- there are also many uproars about hours and wages which never really surfaced because the media would not let it out but now they are.

The seas are a cluster f right now bringing goods to shore in the US. Intensive Customs searches (these take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks) of containers are at an all time high. Used to be 1 in every 100 containers brought in by a company got an Intensive, now, it's more like 1 in 8, and although we are helping keep our country safe, it does slow down goods to market.

 

Also, the huge political issues of the trade deficit is a hot button issue for the current administration. Quotas are up, duty is up, prices are rising, and product, as stated above, have slowed in the past 4 months, but they will ramp it up with demand.

I am a huge fan of Adams Golf and with this new sleek looking driver in Black, wow, it really looks killer. I can only imagine the performance. My buddies used to mock me for using Adams until I began smoking their butts.
