We've barely even hit 85* here in Chicago. Doesn't get too hot, but the humidity will kill you. When it's 95* with 95% humidity parts of your body sweat that you wouldn't even imagine!

I lived in Florida and Mississippi. I'm aware of humidity and how bad it makes things. Luckiily it's a dry heat right now. The humidity will really start ramping up in the next few weeks.

On 8 Bubba finally hits a good one after Phil misses right. Phil's up and down attempt could be the point the wheels completely fall of his wagon.

Oh my. Angel is having a fulll meltdown hole now. Tried hitting putter off the green at 9 and ended up rolling around the hole 30 feet past and then trickled completely to the other side. 

 

Phil just hit a wedge off the backboard in a way only Phil could.

 

Edit: makes the up and down. should be 2 clear of the cut.

@ Apprenti I was at a seminary in Mundelein last week and then in Milwaukee - no golf though I was literally wall to wall busy dispensing my duties as Spiritual Advisor to the Deaconesses of our Church Body.  At any rate if I had to hear how humid it was one more time I was going to slap someone senseless.  Humid?  I live in Florida, I'll show you humid.  Amazingly it was much hotter from Nashville to South Georgia than where I live - we get the Sea Breeze to keep the temps down at least.

 

Nice birdie there by Phil.  Should let him see the weekend.  The big story left is whether or not the kid can beat Tiger for the week.

Adam just go hosed on that putt. Darted left a few inches before the cup. Obviously an imperfection in the green. I have to say, that's the one thing I'm not a big fan of this week.

My wife is from Libertyville and still has family there. Were you at that "Marytown" place? I think it's a nunnery or friar type place. Been there a couple times to purchase some religious gifts for family members.

You nailed it - that's where I was - beautiful spot - had four great days there - loved the chapel.  They had a liturgical institute going at the same time - I can chant, I'm pretty good at it - the folks from that institute actually joined us for Compline (an evening office) one night.

There's also a pretty sweet course five minutes from there called Pine Meadow that's operated by the jemseks (cog hill). Really enjoy playing there.

I couldn't play - I had no free time - any so called free time that they had was spent hearing confession and pronouncing Holy Absolution - It's my favorite week of the year - as a Senior Pastor I'm like a CEO 3/4 of time - the Deaconesses want me to be their Pastor - they don't ask me to do anything else - it's very refreshing.

 

Next year we're about 5 minutes from Murfield Village outside of Columbus and it's more than likely to be the same thing.

 

Someone mentioned it earlier in regards to Gary Player's comments - you have Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth at the top of the leader board - polar opposite games - what else do you want?

If you guys want a super dark horse I am liking Louie on the weekend. He will have an early tee time on Saturday and has the ability to go low. Plus he has been there before.
