Just heard Billy Horschel's interview. Scratch him from guys to root for. I like Weiskopf's comment, they are playing for 10 million dollars, quit complaining.

How about the years when the USGA squeezed the fairways so tight that it took driver out of everyone's hands? How about six inch plus rough around the greens that stifled creativity? It is what it is and great players overcome the conditions. The four players tied for the lead are very diverse. They are ranked 2,9,10 and whatever Grace's ranking is. He's won twice on the European tour. The course is identifying the guys who are playing the best golf. That's a fact.

I hope that I don't hear another complaint about this course once we get the leaders off.

Taylor Made Stealth 10.5  Aldila Ascent Red R flex

Ping G410 5, 7, 9 wood  Alta 65 R flex

Wilson D7 forged 5-GW -  Mamiya recoil 460 R flex

Edison Wedges 54 and 59 KBS Tour Graphite 80's

EVNRoll ER 5

Titleist Pro VIx optic yellow with revkev stamped on them

Still on that elusive hunt for a 3 wood that I'm able to hit - I don't know why, I crush the 5 wood and it's really a 4 wood anyway.

Billy H really having some tough words for the USGA. Losing a lot of respect for him, saying that good golfers go back to average and bad golfers are also average? Totally disagree, there's plenty of golfers who have putted well this week and think he's just upset he couldn't figure them out..

Kind of with you on that. The ones who learned the most from the mistakes are at the top. Some of the low rounds are proof is possible. Some players just found out slower than others

Grace has I believe won the dunhill links event in Scotland, which would mean he knows how to play hard and running courses.

I have now lost total respect for Billy Horschel. What a spoiled brat. Think about all the years of work this course and community has done to host this open and the people of the area and the fans and he just dumps on them because he is mad. Be a professional and keep it to yourself until at least after the tournament is over. He also had to do all those childish antics on the course so everyone on TV made sure he knew he was upset. The USGA has been around for how long? Don't think they really give 2 rips how Billy H feels about them. How is it that DJ Jordan are 4 under and you are not.

I think the key point is he is not professional. I am sure Pros complain all the time but they keep it in the locker room. How does he thinks this helps him because he tells it like it is. The is such a crock. Just a fancy way to say I am spolied

Nice to see Rory playing well today.

Horschel just dropped below Reed on the "Classy List."

Horschel will apologize tomorrow. I'm sure the PGA tour reps will have a word with him and he'll get told to lay low for awhile.

Okay here we go! Finally, time to crack a beer. They have to go before the diet starts, right?
