I am pleasantly surprised with this forum and the way it works, 100% better than Twitter which is definitely not my thing at all. Re the putter, it was my grandson's first Christmas gift after his father left him and his mom at the age of 6 months. Anyway, he makes me very proud and loves golf. All the best and keep golfing.... The "plan" is, start them close to the hole and work their way to the tee-box as they grow older. I think golf is one of the best gifts you can give a child, as it's a gift that will last them their lifetime!
