jdiddyesquire
Is there any reason to suspect a .370 size ferrule wouldn't work on a .370 hosel with a .370 shaft? In other words, are these things pretty standard from club to club? Or do I need a specific .370 style ferrule? -Justin- @jdiddyesquire Driver - Speedline Super LS 9.5*, Matrix Red Tie 6Q3 X stiff3 Wood - Tour Edge Exotics CB4 Tour 13*, Aldila NV Protopype 80X Irons - 3-PW rac LT, KBS Tour XWedges - MP-T4, 50.6, 56.14, 60.5Putter - Odyssey White Hot Pro Rossie Bag: Daltrek Carry-Lite Stand Bag Shoes: Lunar Swingtip Suede Ball: Wilson Staff Duo
Kenny B
Others may know better than I, but if you know that you have a .370 hosel, there is a difference in length and outside diameter. Pick what length and color bands you want. Check the hosel O.D. for either .540 or .550 Go to Golfworks.com and look up the various ferrules available. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
hckymeyer
Any .370 should work just depends what style you like. I should add that there are some older clubs that require a collar, but yeah for the most part any .370 ferrule will work. Ebay has some good places to buy, but I get all my ferrules from Cell Parts. http://www.cell-parts.net/store/cart.php Quick tip... If they are a little tight just soak them in some hot water before installing. Makes them a lot easier to get on. apprenti23
Good point Kenny B- very often people forget that there is not only the inside diameter but also the outside diameter you have to match up as well!
Kenny B
Good point Kenny B- very often people forget that there is not only the inside diameter but also the outside diameter you have to match up as well! Most of the ones I have done have been .540, and I didn't even know there was another size until I went to order them from Golfworks. There aren't many ferrule options for the .550 so I wonder what clubs they fit? Must be old ones. “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
