Golf video games for PC

I'm playing with The Golf Club right now and it's driving me crazy.   The control using my mouse is just too hard.    Since EA Sports don't make Golf video games anymore for PC platform,  what are my other options??   Any future release that I should be aware of?

Does anybody make a golf simulation as good as NBA 2K15?  Real players with real moves?

Hi Super I saw this when you first posted and apart from the old "Links 386" that came out in the late 80's early nineties I'm not sure of any PC based golf games.  Links was an excellent game and I wasted many hours in front of it.  I googled it and I think you can still get it but it involves a bit of mucking around and you have to download a DOS emulator or some thing. Not real savvy in that stuff.  Perhaps if you google Links it might make more sense to you.

 

Otherwise spend a squillion dollars on a game console and buy the new EA Sports Rory McIroy Golf 2015

As a video game programmer who has worked on a golf video game (for consoles) before, I can tell you that the most fun PC golf game out there is ShotOnline. Free to play. May not have the best graphics, but I would recommend it.

 

Unfortunately there is no money in making a PC golf game. The market is just to small to justify the huge expense. Golf is a declining business, and the golf video game market has totally collapsed.

I haven't played a dedicated PC game since the old Links, but I have played the online game at www.wgt.com.  The graphics are really pretty good, and there are a number of courses you can play, including the Old Course.  The actual golf shot simulation isn't great, no intentional draws or fades, etc, but I enjoy it.  They'd like you to spend your actual money buying upgraded clubs and balls, but I've never felt the urge to upgrade like that.

I don't like how EA sports makes video games. They are all so uninteresting that u lose the motivation in order to continue to play. However, I'm kinda interested in the arcade video games, because they can raise the knowledge of the individual that can raise the interest of the knowledge himself.  Personally, I prefer to gamble in the Pokemon video game series. They are all of a fun! My favourite Pokemon video game is one of a kind. It's called Pokemon emerald version that was released on the Gameboy Advance. Since I don't have a Gameboy, I play in this game using the emulator and the Rom that I downloaded from the https://romsie.com/pokemon-emerald-version-gameboy-advance-rom  source where all the classic games are free!! I'm glad that there are such sources that can understand the human wish..
