Played the Jones Course out there and it was stunning on the back especially the green that was right before the Atlantic Ocean (and right next to a bar). The one hole with water right was beautiful. JDiddyesquire recommended it of all people, he played it when he was in town a month or so ago. Beautiful course. About 40 miles from my house so I had never been their before. They are nice, but I prefer other in the area. Do you live in Palm Springs? They renovated both courses around 2010 or 2011. I haven't played the Palm course since the renovation but I liked it better before. I have played the Valley course many more times since it was the tournament course for the meeting I was attending. Both are fairly short, less than 7000 yards. They have always been in immaculate shape which you would expect for a JW Marriott hotel. I also highly recommend Desert Willow and for a lot less money, Indian Canyons. The old course at Indian Canyons used to be the playground for all the Hollywood stars! Have fun!
