This past Sunday, was in a Shootout on the 18th hole at my buddies club. Green was surrounded by about 50 guys and then this was in the fairway lol

Won the year long singles match play competition at my course this afternoon.  165 guys in our men's league split into 8 brackets.  Win your bracket and then you go into the final 8.  All matches are handicapped so it's pretty even most of the time.

We played at Mid Pines during our annual Thanksgiving visit to Pinehurst area.  This is the view up the last fairway.  The terrace here is the best spot to enjoy a post-round beverage and watch the other golfers in the area.

That was just off the green of 17 overlooking the pond that guards the right side of 11's fairway and the left of 17 green. The thing you see in the back is a water treatment facility which stinks to high heaven when you are 11.

November 21, 2015, 9:30 AM at Carl's Golfland, outdoor range, Bloomfield Hills, MI, went there after dropping off Jr at school, to test drive Titleist 913 drivers and Fly Z+, not much roll today.  

 

Snow was gone after about 4 days and has not returned.   Knock on wood.

Eagle 12 hitting his drive this am on 1st hole of the TPC Valley.  That's dew, not snow, of course on the mound behind him (pro tee of #4 on the Stadium).  Cupola of the TPC Clubhouse is visible just to the right of his left shoulder.

Just like I remembered it Dave. I enjoyed mid-Pines a lot. The only bummer the day we played it was a downpour followed us up 18. We got drenched but played out the hole. I finished with a bogey. Can't recall what I carded but I believe a mid 80's round. I also enjoyed looking around the clubhouse, etc before we played. It was like walking back in time and everything was in perfect shape to be so old. And that men's locker room. Never seen anything like it. I also putted on the practice green and right then I knew I was in for a ride. So cool.
