Which is the most forgiving Taylormade iron in the "TP" series?

I'm kind of inclined to say r7 TP, but I'm curious to read about your thoughts on this

I've only hit the 2005's and the R7 forged and out of those two the R7 forged where much easier to hit. But i normally play blades so to me the TM 2005 cb's played much more like a blade iron where their sweet spot was much smaller. JMO

Oh man, that's an easy one. The R7 TP's hands down. For me, there's not even a close second... The Tour Preferred's are second, but I think the R7 TP's are more forgiving.

It depends on what "forgiveness" means. If it means being able to miss the ball all over the clubface and still get decent results, r9tp. If it means a club that a good player can look at, still shape shots, and get away will slight misses, r7tp.

Ya know, I was just going to say. I think I'll be changing my position, as the R9 TP's are just very great sticks. I wonder why more people don't talk about them. When the R7 TP's came out, they were practically in everyone's bag, a lot of guys that I played with. Nowadays, I see the same guys still playing the R7 TP's, haven't switched over yet. They look SHARP. Very clean lines.
