This little guy is now 19 and leaves today for Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa for four years of graphic design and lacrosse. He's leaving with a hard copy of his grandfather's favorite poem... Kenny B
Congratulations! I wish him well, and it's not that far away but far enough that he won't be bringing home laundry. If you get a note or a call like this, here is your response: "No fun...no mon, your son." "Too bad... so sad, your dad." “We don’t stop playing the game because we get old; we get old because we stop playing the game.”
revkev
A bittersweet day for both of us Barbajo - today was the first school day in 16 years where I did not have at least one of my children in attendance with me. It was so weird to do chapel without seeing one of their faces. Embrace and enjoy the change. mizuno_lover
Definitely a bittersweet day as the Rev said. My youngest went over the other side of the coutry to pursue a career in acting 2 years ago and this last fortnight is his first trip back home. It was hard to see him go but you have t let them go and be their own person. You never stop loving them and they are always there in your heart.
