Prior arguments aside. Yall should be better in the next few years. Shea can play and yalls biggest struggle is moving the football.

I'm guessing 7-5 or 8-4 next year. It's one of the only teams I see lounging around on the bench while the others are up jumping around. They have no “team” no “heart”. Frankly, I don't really care anymore, I expect them to be mediocre. Today was terrible, we would have lost to Central Michigan.

I LOVED how nobody was picking Bama to win this one. Don't bet against Bama/ Saban and make them think they are the underdog.

 

Edit: it honestly should have been 21-0 at the half. Bama squandered a lot of opportunities.

I know the rest of the college football world hates the all SEC final but this will accelerate the 8 team playoffs.  We should see 8 teams in 2020 IMO so we could have as many as 3 teams from one conference sometime in the future.

So I was wrong on which team shouldn't have been there. Still not thrilled about 2 teams from the same conference playing for the NATIONAL Title. More reason to make the playoffs 6-8-10 whatever. Might as well do away with the conference championship games, they mean nothing anymore. Also, when you lose to Syracuse... you probably shouldn't be the #1 team.

 

Get the W Georgia... I refuse to watch a SEC Championship Game. There already was one.

Not to mention half time shows for the game and all that... it is College Football. These money hungry sponsors are ruining it. I might start watching cricket or something.

 

Also: Should have made it so this wouldn't happen. Rearrange the teams so the two from the same conference played first. Super frustrated with this playoff system.

So do you have an issue if Michigan plays Michigan St. in the NCAA Championship?   or Carolina playing Duke?   Ok, don't answer that 2nd one, I know a lot of people would have a problem with that
