The urban situation is a joke. He's guilty as sin and if it were Kirby, I know the guys in Athens would have the cajones to do what's right and fire him. He could've been the driver for Aaron Hernandez's drive by's And they wouldn't do anything. He's scum and has always been a scumbag and anyone that follows college ball knows it

You THINK they would fire him, but you don't know that for fact. Until the situation is in your own back yard, it's easy to judge and throw barbs. That's why I kept my opinions to myself when Penn State was going through their problem.

 

This is nothing that doesn't happen everyday (maybe not this particular incident) in probably 90% of all schools with huge athletic programs that make millions of $$$ for the school. None of them are above board.

 

As fans of different schools/teams, it's very easy to turn a blind eye... even if you think you aren't.

 

I'm not calling you out personally.... it was just a good place to stick this.

LSU hasn't had a potent offense since... What...2007? Which is crazy because they produce some NFL talent on the offense but outside of RB, they don't really light it up in the college ranks.

You gotta have someone decent to get them the ball. And for the most part their offensive schemes have been lackluster at best. Their ability or lack there of to find/ coach up a QB has been atrocious.

The lone bright spot since 07 was Mettenberger in 13 throwing OBJ and Landry. Even then they under performed compared to talent.

The hate and animosity between WVU and Tenn fans on social media is quite entertaining. This should make for a rowdy game, especially with the mind games both coaches are playing with the two-deep rosters. All I know is, never mess with Holgorsen...he'll drink you under the table and then his fan base will burn your couch.

Oh I know the folks in Athens would fire Kirby. Because they've done it with our other athletics programs before. The boosters had the AD outed because he got a dui and had a lady in the car and her panties in his pocket. And it was within days. No investigation, nothing. We also have policies where first offenses are 2 game suspensions for players, regardless of what they are. They don't play in Athens. Part of the reason CMR couldn't do more. They hamstrung him with several policies and such.

Having lived 20 minutes from the ND campus for most of my life, I can honestly say, ND fans are the most obnoxious fans around.

 

 

Having lived in the Seattle area and suffered working with way too many Husky fans for 30 years... not even close. 

 

I'm hoping tomorrows game is a good one and that the Irish are 1-0 when the clock reads 00:00.

I love me some Dino. If Matt Rhule doesn't work out, I know a vast majority of the Baylor fan base would love to have Dino return. Baylor's offense was stupid good when Dino was WR coach under Philip Montgomery's offense. Many give briles all the credit but Montgomery and his staff were the true genius behind that machine.

Week 1 college football, what a joke, these supposed big time schools, whip up on the much smaller little colleges, and the fans and media make it out to be these great plays and good games. These games are horrible, Austin Peay vs Georgia, yep, that's a good one. Anyone think AP has any chance of any kind? C'mon, let's see some good games from week 1. I hate the cup cake schedules early in the season, and Then again late in the season for some of them. I want to see top teams play every week.

Man, I don't want to see Appalachian State on ND's schedule, ever.  They have become an opening week wrecking ball for the big name programs  .   That said, I think this will actually benefit PSU going forward this season.
