This year marks the fifteenth anniversary of the WASU flag flying at College Gameday each week. IT also marks the first time in history that the Cougs host Gameday.

A long time ago I spent 3 months in Odessa Texas and one weekend took a trip to Houston ( or was it Dallas?? ) and it happened that the Sooners were playing the Longhorns and man, what a party it was downtown. Wow.

Red River Shootout happens in Dallas at one of the worst stadiums in the state. It's a great game on the field but man, if it's hot that day, that stadium is quite possibly the worst place to be. Very little wind movement, aluminum bleachers everywhere will burn your butt if the temp gets over 85*. The state fair is fun to walk around before and after the game. All the fried foods that makes America great is all in one spot! I remember one year Baylor and Texas Tech played at the CB during the state fair and eating fried butter after the game was probably the worst decision I've ever made.

Georgia did stink it up against LSU  however I will bet my left nut that will be the last hiccup this season.  You will see that against an up and coming Florida team next game.

They are a good team, don't get me wrong. But they have proved little this season. Last year's success does not translate to this season.

Usually folks don't keep up with non conference  recruiting classes so he has no clue Georgia & Bama had the #1 & 2 recruiting class in the nation and are loaded with 5 star players.  You add stellar coaching to the mix and you end up with dynasties. Folks better get ready for the real deal for the next several years.

Yea, well don't sell Canada short.  I was in Ontario on business years ago and there was a Curling event going on in the immediate area.  The Tim Horton's was completely overrun, complete pandemonium.

Yeah, that was a solid win but I'd still be worried about the offense. They had a run of good field position in the 2nd and got 0 points out of it. The efficiency isn't there. Their defense saved them.

Well, he looked like that most of the game.

But I think that was from a phantom penalty. They called a bunch of unsportsmanlike conduct fouls throughout the game that were questionable at best. 

Most of the time the players just got up off the ground and were trash talking. The officials called a tight game in regards to unsportsmanlike conduct fouls and Harbaugh didn't like the call and was unhappy with his players for getting stupid penalties.

Tough loss for my Ducks. But WAZU has a good Defense. 40 total yards of offense vs 295 in the 1st half is tough to overcome.

Mike Leach had that defense game planned to perfection to disrupt Herbert and the O.

Crazy thing is that WAZU has now beaten UO for 4 straight years. Tough.

What about if they get Blown out by Purdue?!

 

I'll go ahead and say it. Teams that lose by 29 do NOT deserve a spot in the CFB playoff. Especially if you  lose by 29 to a mediocre football team.

Coug's QB is from where I'm from. One of my good buddies who coached him in HS flew up to see the game this weekend. He said it was a mad house there pre and especially post game!

No, they don't. Could you imagine if OSU played Alabama. They might lose by more than Tennessee. 

The way I see it the playoff should be:

1. Alabama

2. *vomits* Clemson 

3. Notre Dame

4. Michigan or LSU but I'd give the edge to Michigan because their loss was the first game this year, and they have played some great teams since.

OSU would not even crack my top 10, but then again, the selection committee doesn't care what I think. There will probably be 4 SEC teams this year...
