If your an SEC fan I'd think you'd enjoy it. Maybe even non SEC fans. Anywho, thought I would share. Edit: I have no idea if I've posted his vids before or not. Sorry if I have. That was pretty good, if you had told me this morning, I was going to spend 5:30 minutes watching some guy watch a football game that I already knew the outcome of, well I would have questioned both our sanity.....But he brought right into his emotions during the game!! Golfspy_CG2
Personally I think this was a bad hire. Too much baggage to bring to a team that had a very traumatic year. They needed the stability Canada brought IMOheader (1).jpgFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEDecember 4, 2018 Michael Locksley Named Head Football Coach at University of MarylandLocksley returns home to become the 37th head football coach in Terps historyCOLLEGE PARK, Md. – Michael Locksley, named today as the nation’s top assistant coach, is returning home to become the University of Maryland’s 37th head football coach, Director of Athletics Damon Evans announced Tuesday.Locksley, a Washington, D.C. native with deep personal and professional connections to the area, brings over 20 years of coaching experience, including two separate stints at Maryland, totalling 10 years with the Terps. A press conference is planned for Thursday. The winner of the 2018 Broyles Award, given to the nation’s top assistant coach, Locksley has spent the last three years working under Nick Saban at the University of Alabama. He served as the Crimson Tide’s co-offensive coordinator and won a national championship last season before being promoted to offensive coordinator in February of 2018 and helping Alabama return to the College Football Playoff.“As we narrowed the search for the individual best suited to lead our program, Michael not only stood out for his talent as a coach, but most importantly for the role he has played as a mentor to student-athletes throughout his career and his deep commitment to helping them grow into leaders on and off the field,” said Evans. “On the field, Michael orchestrated one of the country’s most prolific offenses at the University of Alabama and has long been regarded for his recruiting prowess. Today he was recognized as the nation’s top assistant coach in the country, and I’m excited for him to be leading our program.”“I am thrilled to be returning home and to have the opportunity to lead the Maryland Football program,” said Locksley. “This has always been a special place for me and my family, and I am honored to take on this role at the state’s flagship institution. Our goal is to create an atmosphere and environment focused on the total development of our student-athletes. Our focus will always be to help them become more successful in all areas of their life through their association with our program.“I have been tremendously impressed at how the team came together through a difficult season and honored their fallen teammate, Jordan. We are all in this together, and I look forward to rejoining the Maryland family. Thank you to Damon Evans, President Loh and the entire Terrapin community for this opportunity.”Locksley has signed 21 four or five star recruits over his coaching career (according to 247sports), 14 of which came from the DMV area, in addition to coaching 92 NFL Draft selections. Among Locksley’s successful signings to Maryland were future NFL stars Stefon Diggs, Vernon Davis, Shawne Merriman, LaMont Jordan, D’Qwell Jackson, EJ Henderson and Yannick Ngakoue.Alabama’s Locksley-led offense is averaging 47.9 points and 527.6 yards per game in 2018. Diggs is now an NFL superstar for the Minnesota Vikings. In 2013, Locksley guided an offense that eclipsed 5,000 yards (5,160) for only the fourth time in program history and the first time since 2003. Undershooter
Congrats to Kyler Murray btw. He's well deserving of the Heisman. I have a sneaking suspicion that Saban is using this to motivate the hell out of some of his guys btw. Most of the Defense tweeted #Dec29 shortly after it was announced. I will say that I'm not a fan of how certain OU, Auburn, and Georgia alum completely left Tua off their ballot to effect him negatively. If anyone left either Kyler or Tua off then they either weren't paying attention all year or were clearly biased. fixyurdivot and GB13 2 Quote Driver- Tmag 2017 M2 tour issue 8.5* actual loft 7.8* w/ HZRDS Green PVD 70TX" Fairway Metal- Taylormade SLDR Mini Driver 12* w/ Fujikura Rombax TP95-X" Utility- Mizuno MPH5 1 iron w/ Aldila RIP 85X (depending on course/ conditions) Irons- Mizuno MP- FLI HI 2i w/ Aldila Proto ByYou 100X Mizuno MP59 4i-6I w/ PX 6.5 Mizuno MP69 7i-PW w/ PX 6.5 Wedges- Scratch 8620 Driver/Slider set. 50*, 54* bent to 55* and 60* Putter- Taylormade Spider Tour w/ flow neck Ball- Bridgestone Tour B X Bag- Sun Mountain C130 Supercharged

Knocked Gardner out of the game and they didn't even call targeting when it was the definition of the call. Of course they still had to beat (and did) Utah... who, like WSU, I was rooting to hammer the Huskies. txgolfjunkie
Yea that was some BS "reporting" by the Washington Post (I think it was them). Edit: I actually think it was USA today the longer I think on it. Same paper that did the same thing after Villanova won the national championship in basketball. Quick let's sit on something and then use it if the subject wins something significant!! And people wonder why the general public won't believe something they read in the newspaper but will believe something Aunt Pam posted on Facebook from a blog. There wasn't a wrong Heisman winner between tua and Murray. I'm sure Tua will win his next year. Wedgie
I’ll lighten the mood here. My former stomping ground, Kansas, has hired Les Miles. So, over/under on number of seasons he lasts? I say he outlasts Bill Self after the FBI comes down on Self for the Addidas recruiting stuff. It all starts with a good coach. tommc23 1 Quote Lefties are always in their Right Mind
