ND is just getting outplayed in the second half and Spencer Sanders mobility. Going for it on 4th and 7 from your own 15 with 2:38 to play in a 6 point contest.... Duke and North Carolina didn’t like the idea of one and done players for college basketball and both have recruited and accepted those players heavily as of recently. Unfortunately you adapt to keep up with everyone else. I found a quite in an article I read this morning about coach freeman and recruiting, “Coach Freeman is going to make Notre Dame cool for young kids, for kids coming out of cities, kids that don’t typically think of Notre Dame”. It was the west that was terrible… I think the UofM game pretty clearly shows that the champion of the Big Ten was nowhere near the level of Georgia, the 2nd place team in the SEC. Yeah, when one looks at Rutgers and Vanderbilt, or Maryland and Missouri, they’re probably similar, but year-in-and year-out, the top teams in the SEC are superior to the Big Ten. State got smoked in the semifinal a few years back too. Again, opinion vs opinion, but I think the way UofM was dominated, just like they were against Bama the last time they played a top team in the SEC, it shows there is a disparity.
