Nobody.. In fact, none of the undefeated teams in the country have a very good strength of schedule year to date. ND is the highest at 39th and I think it was followed by OSU in the 40-50 range and Bama at 64. Clemson around 70ish and then UGA around 80ish. WVU, Cincy, NCSU, were all 80-100ish and Colorado came in at 116.

Yup, good point.  What is your source of this data showing for who has the most difficult schedules?

Was checking out northwestern football tickets. And you can see a game there for as low as $6. How can you beat that? It is against Illinois and the Nebraska game is cheap as well

An analytics guy on twitter. A local radio host had quote tweeted in the with the "ain't nobody played anybody pawlllll" line. Which I thought was amusing and borrowed the joke for here.

I'm not sure if he uses his own system or another but it looks like sagarin sos ranking are similar to those he gave.

Notre Dame 7-0!  Pitt sure played great and nearly spoiled the run.  I kept update on play by play and there were a few "refresh the page" where I grimaced .

Cmon... that’s aggressive. Franklin is a PHENOMENAL players coach. Kids want to play with him. Yes coaches make bad decisions but doesn’t mean they should be fired. They still have a shot at Big Ten title game or Rose Bowl. That’s still equals a good year.

He is the worst game day coach in college football hands down. At this level anything less than competing for a national title is a bad year. That is what an “elite” program does as defined by Franklin. Can’t be elite when you lose to unranked opponents year in and year out.

The team that is really getting a raw deal is UCF. They even have a 19 game win streak . This a great reason why they need to make the playoffs 6 or 8 teams

UCF's 2017 success shouldn't be counted towards this year's ranking. Right now they're undefeated, yes. Is that difficult to do? Of course it is. Is it easier when your schedule ranks 121st in the nation? Yes sir. 

I wish they had a decent team in 2018 to show a barometer of how good this team is, but when your best win is a 4th qtr comeback over a 4-3 Memphis team, it's tough to put their resume up against an OSU, Bama, Clemson, etc.

How so if you don't mind me asking? The one mediocre team they've beaten was a STRUGGLE win. Their talent profile is miles below both UGA and OU.

 

They are a good team, don't get me wrong. But they have proved little this season. Last year's success does not translate to this season.

Another tough weekend of football on TV...

Only decent games I can find are:

NC State @ Clemson

...

And that's about it!

Geez, Bama is a 30 pt favorite IN Knoxville. Wow. 

Winless Nebraska is a 3.5 favorite at home against Minnesota. 

Oklahoma and TCU will excite some of the Big 12 fans just because TCU's offense is quickly turning into a dumpster fire. 

LSU is a TD favorite at home against Miss St. That could be a fun game to watch between the corndogs and the cowbells. 

 

Am I missing any games that will move the needle? Ohio St is ONLY a 2 TD favorite at Purdue. I thought the line would be at least 20 pts.

With ND off this week, I agree it makes things a bit dull .  But, the Michigan vs. Michigan State is sure to be a good one.  The Washington vs. Colorado and the Oregon vs. Washington State both have implications for the PAC 12 champion hopes.
