It's similar to a Facebook but for only golf related stuff. You can post pics, videos, and thoughts about golf. The coolest thing is you can post looking for people to play with and it send alerts to people in your area and they can reply that they want to play also. I think it's pretty cool. I tend to play on odd days because of my schedule. You can post looking for just fun rounds, money games or tournament partners. You can also get people around the same skill level if that's important to you. Was a nice event and everyone I met was awesome. The thing most everyone said about the app is trying to coordinate schedules and locations to find someone to play with. I have built a good sized crew of golfers and we host events and meet more new ppl all the time. Its also been a great way to meet up with ppl at the last minuet to hit the range or play nine near by. I usually post something like "Hey! Anyone available to hit up the range in the next hour" and generally I'll get a few ppl in a matter of minuets. I recommend it! Then possibly doing a SoCal vs NorCal event. I have met some really awesome people from this app and now that they integrated GolfNow into the App it's even better.
