Finally stopped snowing late last night and now have 2+ feet of snow to shovel. Moving south is sounding better and better as each winter passes.

We got 3/4" and everything shut down for the weekend. But the hope is by Tuesday it will be gone

We got 28" yesterday and most places were open today. Kids even have school tomorrow.

We've got a chance for "black ice" in the morning and we have a 2 hour delay. There may be a chance for that, but we all believe that most of the school board and teachers are enjoying a football game tonight, at the stadium, and will need a couple of hours in the morning

Sorry Guys, (well actually quite happy about it) but I sit here working on the computer with the back door open and a very pleasant breeze blowing. Temperature is 65 and sunny and a gradual warming trend until low 70's and sun for next weekend. But I'm sure we will have more cold weather in the coming weeks.

Nice here in AZ, however the parents and sister got rocked in NJ and DC. 

 

As a meteorologist in Arizona, it was not fun watching the storm rock the east coast and knowing how bad it would get.

Not much going on for a meteorologist in AZ; Sunny today, more sun tomorrow, and let's see...  sunny next week!    :lol:      Maybe a downpour that lasts 10 minutes.  I need to move there.  NOW!

Only area in Virginia not crushed, lots of rain, some snow and ice, but was gone in an instant!

 

Buddy said it snowed, then rained, then snowed again in Great Brddge., it was gone before you knew it

It was beautiful hear today in the low 70's and sunny. But the wind was fierce. It had to be over 25mph. It is 2 am and still blowing 22 mph. But wind is supposed to let up and be perfect Saturday and Sunday.
