RH Adapter in LH Driver

I'll try to make this make sense.

 

So yesterday I was fitted for and bought a Ping G SF Tec 10° driver with an Aldila RIP'd NV 65 shaft. The shaft has a RH adapter on it. The driver is adjustable up to 11° or down to 9°. Normally, the small "+" is .6° up and the big "+" is 1° up. Same the other way but with a small and big "-". I assume that neutral is still neutral. Am I correct in assuming that these are just reversed due to it being a RH adapter in a LH driver? He fit me into the small "-". Does that mean it's set at 10.6°? I should've asked yesterday but didn't think of it.

The rh adapter will be opposite if used in a left handed head. + is actually - on loft

Thanks Rookie. So the small - is equivalent to the small + and big - is equivalent to the big +?

I just heard an explanation of this on the Callaway website "podcast" last week.  I think you have it correct that it is a mirror image if you're a lefty using a right handed adapter.  (I was COMPLETLY unaware until I heard the explanation that there ever were right & left adapters...)

Yes, they're exact opposites. Big + is big -, small + is small -. The lobes on the ping adapter are mirror images. They're 180 degrees the opposite of where they would be on an appropriately marked adapter for the dexterity. Easiest way to see it is if you had an adapter of each and matched neutral up neck to neck

Yes that is correct, I have emailed Tmag, and cally about this issue, I currently have a Rh adapter in my X2Hot pro driver. I would assume that the settings would be reverse in other driver models as well
