I actually like these more than all other Pings. They look surprisingly not atrocious. And that is a lot of praise coming from a decided Ping hater.

Wedges look okay. I think the Irons would look better if the plastic insert was just metal...

I thought the new forged Anser Irons looked good! and then I saw these bad boys! WOW!

 

And I'm sure that the insert is polymer and is there for either feel or acoustics, and if it were metal it would detract from both of these, and also increase weight of the clubhead.

I love the look of both the irons and the wedges. For me it's a step up the esthetics ladder from the s57 and the tour-w. Thumbs up !

Aside from the new forged Answer irons these are the next best looking irons from Ping.

The Platic bit doesn't worry me, the S57's and 8's had them as well. They were just black.

It almost looks like the cavity is slightly deeper than previous "s" series clubs. I wonder if the top line is similar to that of the s57.
