I would love to be one of the 3 brave souls to test and review a set of JPX-ES Forged irons. The word ‘forged irons' is music to my ears. It flows off my tongue like a beautiful opera aria. Yeah, I'll tell you if they're contenders or pretenders… and if they can go the distance.

Monatcat
When you think “feel,†what do you think of? In a golf club, I mean. Does the word “Buttah†come to mind? In most circles, the word “feel†is often associated with the Grain Flow forgings of Mizuno. Get a roomful of internet golf geeks in a room and one of them is bound to wax poetic on the glories of his “Mizzy's.†TCS-PFT-GFF-1025B-Hike!All that's missing is the “Omaha!†That Peyton-esque cadence is Mizuno's formula for the new JPX-EZ Forged irons. TPS stands for Triple Cut Sole for “greater versatility and workability from all types of lies.†PFT is Power Frame Technology for distance and ball speed. And GFF1025B is Mizzy's formula for feel – Grain Flow Forged 1025 Boron. Mizuno says the JPX EZ Forged irons have a thinner and stronger face (thanks to the Boron), which gives you “amazing†distance and maximum forgiveness. We Want You!Is Mizuno's new forged Game Improvement iron a worthy member of Mizuno's forged arsenal? Is it a game changer for the 8 to 18 handicapper? We want your help to find out. Mizuno and MyGolfSpy are looking for 3 brave souls to test and review a set of JPX-ES Forged irons. Do they provide the distance? Is the feel up to Mizzy standards? Are they contenders or pretenders? We want you to tell us! And Mizuno wants to make sure the irons you test are the right irons for you. Usually any iron tests on most golf websites are for the stock offering only, but for this review, you'll be able to get yourself custom fit for the JPX-EZ's! Our testers will be able to visit a local Mizuno fitter and get yourself fully spec'd out for the right shaft, lie, grip, etc. How To Apply: We want 3 of you to test out and review Mizuno's JPX-EZ Forged irons. Please tell us the following: First name and home town Handicap Current irons/shafts Custom Fit – yes or no We'll be announcing the tester/reviewers on the Forum the week of 14th, so make sure you're there to se it. Good luck!!! ThreeLinesOnly
This would be so cool. I Golf 3 to 5 times a week and without saying, oh I will say it anyways, I would really love being able to test these clubs out. My home course puts out 70,000 rounds a year, yes that much. We are always busy, too busy most times (you know what I mean) and I would like to show these off on the range and course. Monatcat
Mizuno... Name's Steve and I'm a die-hard golf fan from central Florida -- and I'm left-handed -- so testers are few and far between. I'm currently using Adams IDEA irons (6 thru PW, with cobra flyZ hybrids for 4 and 5) and tow Callaway wedges (54 and 60). My handicap is 21. Love to give'em a try. Would love to see how Mizuno has since evolved, and whether I'm leaving strokes out on the course by not taking advantage of newer game improvement technologies. (Tried going back to the MX-23's recently, and they felt sort of meh compared to the mb's.) Awesome opportunity for community members. Thanks, MGS, and good luck to all.
