TESTERS ANNOUNCED! Mizuno JPX EZ Forged Irons!

Recommended Posts

Richard Allen

Marietta, GA

Handicap 20

Callaway X 2 Hot Irons, Regular Graphite shafts

Custom Fitted by a golf store rep

My previous irons were Hogan Pros Forged Irons with regular steel shafts. I was told by a golf store fitter(?) that I should change to a more forgiving irons with a graphite shaft because of my age (then 68) and that I would get a lot more distance. The feel of the new clubs were not as pure as the forged clubs so I would love to test the new Mizuno JPX-EZ Forged Irons!

I would love to compare my current gamer set! I have a set of players irons but I am not a spring chicken anymore so any forgiveness would be great....I don't want to loose the Mizuno feel.

Mizuno MX-900s, with stock graphite shafts

Not fitted

I know you guys will find this hard to believe (as do I!) but that well-worn set of MX-900s was stolen from my (stupidly) unlocked garage earlier this week! I guess I need to find another contest for the also taken Cobra woods, eh? Golf clubs are easily (albeit, painfully) replaced, but the low-life also took my custom carbon road bike. Now, stealing a man's bike is like stealing his horse in the old days...and out west here, I think you can be shot for that!

Good luck, everyone!

      Hi folks,
I’ve been told several times by pros that OEMs offer a refinishing process for their clubs. I’m looking at getting my MP4s refinished at the end of the season but can’t seem to find a contact for Mizuno in Ireland that knows about this (or is willing to tell me over a sale), does anyone have any advice or alternative options to this. I don’t want to change clubs as I really enjoy playing these but they are starting to wear.
      Thanks in advance
      Richard

      Hi all,
Mixed bag of goodies coming at you from Canada!
Driver:  Cobra Biocell (set at 12º)
      Cobra Baffler Hybrid - 18º
      Mizuno MP-18SC irons (3-PW)
Cobra Tour Trusty Wedges (52º and 58º)
Odyssey White Hot Pro CS7 putter
      TaylorMade TP5x ball
Still got room for one more club - demoing 3/4 woods at the moment, but I also tend to switch my wedge configuration to a 50/54/58 from my current 52/58 ... depends on the course.

Cheers to a new season! 😄
